Look, it's this thread again! Reminds me of the old times... now almost only lunatics remain around here. What a shame.

MovingArtillery: Guys, is anyone having a problem opening their activity feed? The 404 error keeps on appearing.

cose_vecchie: Yes, I am. I can't open it.
This sucks. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

It seems to have been fixed for me too. Thanks for the info!
Just a curious question. Is a person suffering from OCD more susceptible to failing a lie detector test?
I woud think so, even if their obsession is lying itself. OCD involves a lack of control and lie-detectors can only be tricked by somebody who has their tells under control. In fact, compulsive liars near-universally tell garbage lies because (I guess) the falsehood is more important to their subconscious than believability.

I agree, it might even trigger the lie detector if the person with the OCD questions the truth that they told, despite the fact that that truth is actually the real truth. That being said, I've read somewhere that usually the person subject to the polygraph test would first be inquired about their mental wellbeing, I guess the purpose of this is to know whether the person actually suffers any mental disorders like OCD, and maybe the polygraph test would then be adjusted in some ways that take into consideration of that fact. However, I still don't really trust it though.

Thanks for your answer still :)

Are helmet designs copyrighted? To be more specific, I would like to use the example of the Master Chief helmet from the Halo franchise. The helmet looks quite simple in my opinion, to the point that it resembles MTX helmets. So I'm wondering whether copyright laws' protection extends to those really simple designs like the Master Chief helmet?

As befitting a thread of random questions, you get an answer by a random person with no background in law.

It seems that minor, incremental improvements are worthy of copyright and extend the copyright duration.

Winnie the pooh with no clothes or Mickey Mouse looking exactly like Steamboat Mickey - no longer in copyright.
Winnie the pooh in a red shirt or Mickey Mouse wearing white gloves? Disney will kill your dog and burn your house down.

Or it could be a trademark issue. Ask a random question, get a random answerer.

Don't worry, I knew what I was in for the moment I asked that question here lol. Ok, thanks for your answer. :)

What about people posting about payment or other order problems for what might be their first order? What about people asking about games they may be interested in? What about people who find that they can be a part of the community here but for some reason or another can't make purchases, at least for the time being?
