Telika: So, seriously, what's the trick with "Path of Exile" ? It can't be free out of charity, right ? Where is the trap, pay to what ?
Maybe some type of cunning trick by the developers for laundering their drug money? You know, legit company, dodgy accountant, put the drug money in the bank on the books for the game company that doesn't even really make a profit. Clean money. Or some sort of negative gearing tax dodge scam for another company.

I doubt the game can be their real day job though.
Anyone here play guitar, specifically electric?

What gauge strings do you use?

Here's one:

People have been talking about the danger of polar ice melting, raising the water level and causing flooding, and they are of the opinion that this should not be happening.

The *same* people have been saying thay want to abolish ICE.

Any idea why?

Also, for a more serious (and less political) question:

Mini PC or PC stick? (Budget: around $99, specs are about the same for both.)
And what did EA do to piss off the Onion? XD

I'm not complaining, I'm totally down with it, but remind me never to get on their bad side. :P

Enebias: Sometimes when I click "post my message" my posts appear, sometimes not. Does this happen to someone else as well?
I've seen this happen if I choose to reply-with-quote, then, in the course of trimming down the quoted message to just the parts I want to answer, I mangle the markup. The forum returns an HTTP error if the open-quote/close-quote tags aren't balanced, but the client-side editor isn't smart enough to show the error, so the page appears to hang and the post is never published. To recover, copy the text of your post, reload the page to unlock the "Post my message" button, fix the quote tags to be balanced, then submit the post again.

A very light custom set (9 10 12 20w 32 42) tuned to C#.
One question:

I have heard about people losing pounds and somehow being proud of that fact.

I have also heard about people using pounds as currency to buy things.

So, here's the question: Why not, instead of losing pounds, just spend them if you have too many?

Thanks :D

After 15 years I finally switched to light on my acoustic and it has made all the difference and I was wondering if it might do the same on my electric.

The switch was great because I have small hands and it makes bends easier and my play faster, which has never really been a problem on an electric, so I've been holding off.
Serious question here:

What's the best way to store computer mice?
Is there a physiological reason old people are always cold?

An elderly couple checked in, they have their room up to 80F and they want to know why we have the air conditioner on. :P

I went into their room to check to make sure their vents were open and sweated off about 10 pounds. :P

Usually it's down to bad blood circulation, from what I've heard.

Oh, and a quick, random question from me.

How does one change the text below their user name, <--- < Over there, on the left

That's cool, and it's their room, so they can have it what they want.

However, when they bitched at me because we're on a different time zone than where they live; yeah, that was a little tough to take. :P

At the top of the page, on the topic list or in a topic (but not on the main forum page), there should be an option labeled "My Settings". Click that, and you can then change yout forum "title" to whatever you want, as long as it fits (and doesn't violate the forum rules, of course).

I just got a new laser pointer for my cat and it has a setting for a UV light.
Anyone know why?

Do cats see, react, to UV light differently?
