Treasure: I may not like dogs much, but I have an idea of what's going on there. I think the dog has fleas on it and the goat licks them off it, and that's why the dog doesn't react. That is, this is a mutually beneficial relationship-the goat satisfies its weird pleasure of licking the dog and the dog gets rid of its fleas without much effort.Hope you liked this explanation. :-)

I wanted to ask a random question as well yesterday, but now I've forgotten what I wanted to ask. I will thus edit later in case I want to ask something too.
Mhh that might be it, some kind of flea fetish :p OR the goat is trying to intimidate the dog, that's what they usually do when they spit and headbutt....

Also why no live to digs? (not that I'm a big dog or any other pet fan)

No, but I bumped up against it numerous times in the original version of the Soundtrack thread. The first post in that thread is still near the cutoff, I think, if you want to use it as a ballpark for maximum length.

That's an interesting explanation. Similar to how there are other symbiotic relationships like this in nature (for example, the small fish that clean parasites off of larger ones, and birds that pick parasites off of buffalo and alligators).

Personally I suspect the dog is just very well domesticated. It's a terrier, which are generally of very high intelligence, and it may understand that the other farm animals are to be tolerated, much in the same way that rambunctious children are. The dog does seem to be making that pleading face they make when they are hoping a human will intervene in their situation. :)

Enebias: I don't, though in my HDD I stored ALL my GOG collection, just waiting to be unpacked! ;)
Usually, I play a maximum of 2 games at the same time[..]
Same here usually, or at least it will be with GOG when I'll have more space XD

snowkatt: so i can
That's how bloated and messy things always start :P

--Anyway, talking about bloated, I have another question:
do Youtube pages cause massive memory usage to you too? (even without loading the videos!)
After about 5-10 channel\playlist\videos, my Firefox19 arrives at 1+ Gb Ram, too much for my old pc.
Its ancient FF3.x version could do the same exact thing using like 1\3 of the memory.. :\

--Ah, also, why doesn't GoG try to sell old system's games using emulators? No company is interested in this at all? : (

The following questions are just for the sake of knowledge, and I'll use a few hyperboles just to give an idea. I never used Humble Bundle, and I'm not planning to, but I would like to have a better understanding of a few details anyway.

Let's suppose I am really, really interested in a game, but that game is a Steam exclusive, also sold trough Humble Bundle in form of key code.
Fact is, I have a total, brutal, zealous, uncontrollable and irrepressible hate for both Steam and the developers who use it, and I would prefer to burn my money than give it to them (I state that again: these are simply hyperboles. I don't want to start arguments of any kind).
In the case I choose to buy it anyway, but set my payment so that the 100% goes to charity... Steam and/or the developers would still take a cut?
In the case of deveopers, I assume the most liekly answer is "no", but what about Valve? They still provide a service, after all, and I doubt they would renounce to their share just to help charity. Hundreds of games are sold that way, so I think it's fair to have a few doubts.
Do we have somewhere "Show your GOG Machine" photo thread?

I know there is "show your desktop", but about the actual computer epeen thread? :)

(...yes i am trying to put together something new trolololoo)
What the fuck is up with Vesna? I mean, seriously.
i'm currently searching for solutions of the navier stokes equations?

(an education level test)
Why is it when I post a pic - it shows up in my attachments 5 or more times? Every time I go to attach a pic this happens.
Will we get Unreal Tournament 2004 for Linux on GoG and will there be a league when Galaxy goes online?

What is the percentage of women on GoG?

How many percent of people on GoG seriously play more than 10% of the games in their library in the first 2 months after buying?

Any chance for Yoda Stories on GoG?

I've noticed that a lot of women seem to be into retro and indie gaming which is just awesome (and way better than this whole Call of Doodie-kaboodle anyway).

Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
Did you know that you can save 15 % or more with Cthulhu?

When he rises, it will be difficult to save 1% of humanity FROM him. 15% or more is very utopical!
I wonder- is there any software that works like a bulletin board/notice board? That is, a software where the user has the ability to post notes and see them all together and in their entirety(I don't like having only half the note appear and then having to click on it to show the rest). I know I could probably use an actual, real-life bulletin board/notice board, but I don't feel like searching where I could buy the thing from(I haven't bought any such things before) and I also don't feel like moving anything that's currently on the wall. I like my house setup as it is. :-)

P.S.I tried to use Icebergs for a while which had a function similar to the one I'm looking for, but then the damn thing got acquired by Pinterest which has those pesky social features I don't like! Grr!!! (Plus, I also didn't like the interface.Well, thank goodness I kept the stickies where I had originally written the notes. Which reminds me that I should probably download the extras that GOG provides, just in case.)

P.S. 2 I put my question in italics in order to make it stand out from the rest of my chatter. :-)
