Vydija’s quest has just become even more exciting. Today Succubus Halloween Special update has just arrived! With it comes new content and a 30% discount on the base game and its OST (you have to add both of them to your cart to receive the discount) that will last until 1st November 2021, 2 PM UTC.

Also, Succubus - The Worshipper Bundle is now available on GOG.COM, with the base game, artbook, comic book, and OST – letting you save 20% of your money when compared to buying Succubus and mentioned DLCs separately at original prices.

Kenshi 20% off was tempting but not enough... Come on GOG, you can do better!
Has the update arrived for offline installer users? I currently see version 1.2.15019. Is that the new one? I don't think so, because the (typically confusing or outright missing) Changelog tab seems to indicate a 1.3 version which would stand to reason is newer. Can GOG please specify when the OFFLINE INSTALLERS are updated? I made my purchase for a DRM-free offline installer, not to engage with "the client to end all clients".

I have generally been wary of updates since the Hitman Online DRMed edition release here. Namely, I am concerned that since GOG evidently believes developers/publishers can "design their games how they want", it is possible that updates to games could in theory include new online connection requirements that weren't there previously. Can GOG reassure us that such a phenomenon will not happen?

Usually 1 to 2 work days after the Galaxy Update.
Something you do know...

No, I do not "know" that. Please refer to the user-generated topic on this forum of offline installers that are weeks, months, and iirc in some cases YEARS out of date compared to the Galaxy installer. Besides, my point is that it is disingenuous to say the arrival "arrives" here when for non-Galaxy users it hasn't. It would still be distasteful, but at least more accurate to say that the update "arrives on Galaxy". Of course, to do so would probably increase the likelihood that people ask about offline installers, that there may be an expectation for staff to say when the offline installer is there, etc, and in most cases it seems the priority is to act as though offline installers do not even exist.

Yeah yeah yeah, go back to the boycott threat...
Or are you frustrated there by the lack of attention from basically anybody else around here?

You know very well, that the lacking behind offline installer topic is mostly out of date.
You know very well, that most of the few offline installers that lack behind either supported by an update you can download, or they got nothing that is needed in any way (or related to Galaxy). Not all, but the big majority.

You know very well, that updates come to the offline installers within a few working days these days.

You know all this for sure.

You just wanted to create attention by naging.

And now you try to put a lipstick on a pig.

Gog's likely response: SOON(tm)
I come here to see how many people fighting over this game theme. Why so quiet? C'mon fight fight fight I'm here sitting with my popcorn.

What's there to fight about? Those who are intersted will buy (or have already bought ) and those who aren't interested won't buy. Same with Agony and every other AO game or game with controversial themes. I fail to see what a fight would be useful for ... except for your enjoyment, of course :)

Another one of those instances where it's cheaper to buy all the components than the full edition as it's lacking the discount. Come on GOG, surely you should check these things out before posting them.

GOG is not responsible for the prices - they can only post what the publishers tell them.

They may not be but are supposed to offer advice. Steam also does not really have all these special editions as standalone versions so how do they handle it?
