Stooner: You can also try this.

SCPM: That's what I was using before, but when new games are added they appear in different places on the list, so it's hard to keep track of what was added since the last update. 3:
Oh yeah... I don't know which method they are using to arrange that, but it's not helping.. ;p

SCPM: I noticed the number of participating games went up by 6 since I checked yesterday. Is there any place that lists what games have trading cards added, so I don't have to scour the participating games list each time?
I also try to update the opening post regularly. If anyone found a game I missed feel free to pm me

EDIT: Ok it seems like I'm missing a lot of games. I thought all games were mentioned in the ASSOCIATED GAMES list but I was wrong.

EDIT2: Should be complete now.

So all you get out of this is badges?

langurmonkey: So all you get out of this is badges?
You get the badge a background you can use on your profile badge and an emoticon you can use in posts, so that you can show off like a boss!
Isn't that the greatest idea Valve ever had?! :P

No.

langurmonkey: No.
Why not though?

People who like the cards collect them, partly through buying them on the market.
People who don't like the cards sell them on the market for free Steam wallet.
Valve gets a percentage off trades from the market.
Developers get a percentage off trades from the market.

And some just completely ignore them, even when they get them.

Hard to see a negative in there :)

I can get money from selling these cards?

Sorry if it didn't come across, that was meant as a sarcasm.

In my opinion is just another excuse to make more money (market) and let's be honest, probably people will buy certain games only because of the trading cards.

edit:
Exactly as Pheace said, some will value collecting the cards others just won't try to bother and sell them for some steam wallet credit.

In the end it's up to the user to decide what to do.

And yes, you can sell cards in the market.

Yep, put them on the Community market and you'll end up with free Steam wallet from the people who bought your cards.

I agree with you unless there is a way we can profit from having these trading cards.

I don't see the harm, you can totally ignore the trading cards. Just like I do with those achievements now.
I'm just looking for 1-for-1 trades of cards of the same game. If anyone wants The Ship, I'll take any card I don't have for it.

[HAVE]
- A.R.E.S.: Ares
- Super Meat Boy: Epic Meat Man!
- The Ship - 2 Pack Gift

[WANT]
- A.R.E.S.: Valkyl, Prime Guardian, Minos Core, Zytron
- Super Meat Boy: Dr. Fetus!, Bandage Girl, Retro Meat

Anybody knows how often boosters drop? I have completed my drops for plenty of games but I haven't received any booster so far.

No idea, but a bunch of people (myself included) got TF2 boosters in a single day last week.

.. all my mystery cards have changed!

10:06 AM - Foxhack: my cards have changed.
10:06 AM - Foxhack: torchlight, tomb raider, skyrim
10:06 AM - Foxhack: reus, prison architect
10:07 AM - Foxhack: kerbal, bioshock infinite, chivalry, football manager 2013, dead island riptide
Yep, time for Summer Badge crafting!

My mystery cards turned into:

Dead Island Riptide
Kerbal Space Program
Skyrim
Tomb Raider

Anyone need a Dead Island Riptide or Kerbal card that can help me get some of the others from the set?
