amok: the year has four seasons. there are 12 months in a year. If each seasson has equal lenght, then each seasson is 12/4=3 months. We are now in March - the years thrid month. Mathematical proof!
Except for the land of Eternal Autumn, it usually doesn't last more than a month (and a half, maybe). Which is a pity, because of those absolutely gorgeous colors.

The Earth's tilt is out of wack, so not all seasons are created equal :P.

WinterSnowfall: Can't help but look at the cutesy artwork that other store has and ask where is GOG-chan :P.

KosmicznaPluskwa: She's right here! And yeah, Steam's sale art is gorgeous (as well), if anyone is curious, this is the artist
This has certainly been suggested before, but could you not work on a banner wallpaper art pack and sell it? I'm not looking for something like this for free, hence the emphasis on selling.

A GOG-chan powered GOG supporter pack! I like it!

i_ni: That was a rather fast Winter.

There was barely a winter, in the climatological sense of the word, at my place and same for Europa and World (as far as I got it (edit: from news)).

clarry: Wtf, nothing on the front page suggests there's a seasonal sale.. nothing except for that little news post at the bottom, which will be soon buried under other news.
GOG are you not even trying to engage people?
Or are you trying to sneak in a secret sale?

BreOl72: Maybe look again?
Ok, so that is also buried among a dozen generic game adverts. If you're not staring at the carousel at the right moment, you will miss it like I did.

If you're not staring at the carousel at the right moment, you will miss it like I did.
Or...you simply use the arrows to the left and right of each segment of the carousel...like I did and do.
I mean - that would be the course of reason, if you're interested in what's new.
Very convenient feature, those arrows.
Also saves a lot of time (compared to sit and wait until the carousel spins on its own - all it takes, are 11 quick mouse clicks in total, to see everything).

Not anymore.
I am once again asking GOG to add regional pricing to Activision and EA games.
Amazed to see a GOG sale without a freebie, might be the first time? that aside, I'm getting a game I've been wanting to get for a hot bit that is on sale now. Fun times ahead!

Well, Western US certainly had a cold, wet Winter... except for a couple of days in the middle. Birds showed up on 2nd day of Spring, right on time.

Way to miss the point. Looks like even GOG disagrees with you, now that they've finally put up spring sale graphics that you don't have to actively look for in order to realize that there is a sale.
Will they add more games to the sale tomorrow ?

No, they don't "disagree" with me.
It's just that THE release of the year (so far) - a true coup that was reported all over the gaming related internet - was a little more important on its first day, than just another sale, that started on the same day.

Hmm, the way I see it, visuals for sales are creations that were made with a purpose of selling games on the event so in a way, given they're completing it's purpose, people coming to the store are already paying for them; selling the art separately on top of that feels redundant and just not right somehow for me. Hopefully in the future we could have a separate section on the site to make them available separately as wallpapers for anyone to access anytime they want though!
