Great, thanks everyone for your restraint while HL and I got this set up. Now we'll be populating and maintaining this thread for your GOG soundtrack needs.

IAmSinistar: ** PLEASE DO NOT POST until HypersomniacLive and I have reserved enough posting slots **
It was hard, SO HARD, to not put anything. And I don't even have interest on the soundtracks, but I could have written the first reply you see?

In essence you did get the first reply, so take comfort in that. :)
My favorite part is that your reserved posts take over precisely one page, so the discussion doesn't begin until the top of the second page. It makes it a true resource, not diluted by all the chitter chatter of a forum. Did you do that on purpose?

Thanks to you both for putting in all this effort!

Yes, we decided that 20 posts would hopefully give us the scope for expansion we needed, and was also the number of posts visible on one page in the default view mode. We liked the idea of a solid page of information before the discussion begins, though folks with the 50-post-per-page view won't see it as such. It's still a good lead block of data for them too, though.

Thanks for you comments!

It's not the same, and you know it.

Well, as someone who has a vituperative response to "First!" posts, I think it's a good compromise. Certainly for our mutual health and well-being.

It's like when, back at uni, I saw a computer terminal with a little label saying "please don't steal me, I serve no purpose on my own". I certainly knew that it was useless without the server, and had no use for it, but after seeing that label... it was very hard to not bring it home.

I have a streak of balking at being told what not to do as well. I think that contrariness is in-built to our specie and probably one of the more successful contributors to our evolution. Not that it doesn't make us do bad or stupid things as well, but I think it's been selected down to a tolerable level. Especially by those who ignored Nature's "do not do" warnings, such as not putting bright red berries or yellow-and-black insects in your mouth. :)
