Friend_ape: Good to hear it. Can't use anti-socialness in my life. Not because I am not a sociopath, but because I am too careful, and you too should be very careful. It might happen that all the things we strive for go unrecognized - frustrating, dangerous and ultimately, the doom of all mankind.
I don't understand, why would it be the "doom of all mankind" if my our your individual desires aren't fulfilled?

It is a good question, kind of. Mankind is lost. All we can do at this point is store up our treasures in heaven. It will be our doom, then, if we don't do our best, and so on. That's what I mean, I guess.

Is "heaven" a metaphor or meant in a genuinely religious sense?
I still don't get why you think mankind is lost.
But yes, one has to do one's best.

Mankind will be judged. I guess I think we're lost because of some judgment. I don't get your presupposition in the first question: what's the difference? But Heaven is certainly a concept that we can get, after some application of the required mental and physical resources.
