Bug report: fight 17 cuts off some of the description - it stops midword at "As the bewildered wizard watche"

I suspect there's a maximum text length somewhere (maybe in the original spreadsheet? didn't check) probably set to 2048 chars or somesuch - and well, Morte tends to be somewhat loquacious. :P

Also fight 36 (both linked to the original posts from Doc)
Thank you!, I just uploaded the fixed page. :)

krugos2: Expanding on TheDudeLebowski's spreadsheet posted recently, we are proud to present you a webpage where you can follow all the fights, neatly archived and organized in a style that resembles the GOG forums (dark mode).

Soon we will be adding all the info on the participants and their characters and we're planning other activities like interviews and stuff. I hope you enjoy it! :)

You're taking it to the next level, this is so cool!
Is there some fantasy/Yuletide movies you can recommend guys? Like Hogfather or Klaus.

Yup, turns out I can't add more text. Well, at least krugos2's lovely website will fix all that! :D

Great opening track, not so sure about Barbie Girl.

My contribution is minimal compared to krugos2's input. He deserves all the credit.

What? Aqua with Barbie Girl is a CLASSIC: I can see many of the fighters raving like maniacs to

"I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic!
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation"

And then we have a few of the more grumpy kind in the back "Come on barbie, let's go party!". By the time they get to "Cotton Eye Joe" the floor in The Tavern is literally jumping...

Seriously, someone needs to animate these moments!

great track from a classic dance album. I had the "acqua" blue transparent tape. Some friends of mine made a crossover metal cover. Old times! I think they were deeper than people thought, actually very smart track about a society of appearences and wanting to look successful. And looking at FB and Instagram today, they naiiled it.

"Did someone say Barbie Girl? Ohhhhh man they got my jam! This song was all the rage back on Coruscant. Now I don't feel so bad about losing anymore."

Ben Kii Nobi proceeds to jump onto a table and dance poorly to bad euro music. He also attempts to mind trick the other fighters to dance and sing along to Barbie Girl. :D

Kayla angrily climbs back up a pillar before calling out "Ooo aaa ooo aaahaaahaaah!", hundreds of purple monkeys come swarming in, encircling Rock before following Kayla's lead and throwing their faeces at him. Rock is now known as Rock-covered-in-monkey-poo.

Reading these battles feels like I am being treated to an episodic miniseries. I log into this forum just to get my daily fix! ;) Great writing! Entertaining! Unpredictably amusing! :D

Congrats to all Round 1 winners! Message to those in the tavern: keep a seat warm for me, just in case! :P

Nice, I would really like to have seen that :)

Absolutely. I didn't think so much about the double meanings back then (for obvious reasons...), but yeah, also the promiscuous nature of the human psyche is something they verbally flirted with. Many of the 90's eurodance and the late 90's dance music had some deeper meanings. At the same time their music videos, lyrics and choice of clothes certainly got more and more wild and crazy with each passing year. Just look at music videos today (at least if we're comparing most of 80' and 24-7's "Slave to the music" f.ex..).

Then again, Eurodance is known to be filled with catchy tunes with completely wacky lyrics sometimes, that's its trademark. Personally though, I don't care what they sing about really as long as it sounds good :D

"Go cheeta, get banana, hey monkey, get funky"!
"wiggle you batty an wave you han an jump around ina style an pattana"

Again, love these fights. Speaking of, maybe we should have a Karaoke scene with a fountain in The Tavern just so people can cry in the rain?

This is becoming a real community effort here. Nice to see! :D

Assume the tavern brawl was also calmed down and Calad can squeeze back out of that nook between the top of some shelves and the ceiling where he had stuffed himself where it seemed things were going to get toasty? Plenty of interesting characters popped up since, would be nice to observe them better :)
You guys are incredible. I know I've already said that but wow. I can't wait to catch up! I've been busy and going through some emotions/stress in real life, looking forward to sitting down and reading all I missed tomorrow!
