Vote for Kero Blaster and Pixel's other games:

I tweeted Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya:

@amaya_pixel Will you release #CaveStory & #KeroBlaster on @GOGcom? #DRMfree Contact them: http://www.gog.com/indie or welovedevs@gog.com

He responded:

@Barry_Woodward I don't know about GOG well.

I followed up with two more tweets:

@amaya_pixel They're the world's leading DRMfree game platform & Steam's closest competitor. They sell @naramura's La-Mulana for example.

@amaya_pixel I believe your partner Playism helped Takumi Naramura bring La-Mulana to GOG, perhaps they could assist you with #KeroBlaster.

I don't know that Daisuke Amaya has the English skills to properly communicate with GOG and would need someone to help him. Currently Kero Blaster is only available on Playism for PC (http://www.playism-games.com/games/keroblaster/) and the iTunes store. The creator of Cave Story deserves the bigger audience GOG can provide. It would be nice if those with Twitter accounts could send him encouraging tweets or for those who know Japanese to better explain the potential of releasing his game on GOG and help him make contact with them.

I own a legal translation company that provides services including Japanese translation. I would be happy to assist.
It's not even on Steam or anywhere — only the iPod App Store and the site's own store. Also, Cave Story+ isn't on GOG either. Don't think this has much chance of success.‮‮ ‮‮‮

That would be tremendous. If you really do pursue this, keep us informed. :)

Well, Cave Story+ is published (and owned?) by Nicalis, so I don't think it's directly up to Pixel that it's not here. Nicalis were the ones who said something like "We're not on GOG because they take more than the industry standard 30%!", something that was refuted by GOG staff members saying something along the lines that "Nicalis had never contacted GOG, so we're not sure where this idea came from".

Anyway, Kero Blaster appears to be self published so maybe Playism will help him publish it here and maybe on Steam.

thiagovscoelho: Oh.
So my point is that we've got a much better chance with Kero Blaster. The fact that CS+ isn't here isn't a bad sign.
Bump. Voted for the game on the wishlist. Cave Story is probably one of the best free ( the original version ) Indie games out there, so I'm all for making "Pixel"'s games available here at GOG.
I voted for Kero Blaster (and previously voted for Cave Story).
Cave Story was an amazing game, why not give Kero Blaster a shot?
Voted. Hope we get it here.
Voted! :)

I love Cave Story+, though I haven't discovered the true ending yet.
Another 2-D novelty game?

In Nicalis' defense, they never said they contacted or were contacted by GOG. Their tweet: "We'd be on their service if they could match everyone's standard 70/30 rev share." might have been based on second hand information from other devs and might have been true at one time. Regardless, the fact that neither party at the time of that tweet had contacted one another is ridiculous. It'd be nice if GOG could make an effort to get Nicalis on board to bring titles like Cave Story+, 1001 Spikes and The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth here.

Cave Story+ was amazing! (I have it on Steam), and I see trails of that game is this Kero Balster, so I'm totally voting for it. Actually, I voted for all of them (already did a very long time ago for Cave Story+ though).

Good to know someone approached Pixel-sama. Maybe in the future we can see his games on GOG.com ^_^
