If you like JRPGs with semi tactical battles, then you should like it. The story is competently presented.

How is the grinding however?
Also, are all the 3 games connected story-wise or are they independent?

Also, are all the 3 games connected story-wise or are they independent?
The grinding is there but not super heavy; It makes the game easier because you can unlock abilities and items earlier by grinding out Sepith. But for the most part you'll grind a little to beat a few of the tougher enemies and move on. The three games are definitely interconnected, and choices made in one game will affect the following games.
