I now have this burning desire to check out Getting Over It, but I hope GOG never features it here.
I realize it's a horrible game.
I realize it's reduced grown men to tears.
I realize it's made the calmest of folk into The Incredible Hulk.
Call it morbid curiosity. And I don't know why this but not, say, Goat Simulator.

Goat Sim is that bad. You get to do all sorts of crazy shit, and you do get goals so it's not totally aimless. Not everything can be Alpha Centauri. :P
@pmcollectorboy

What you've developed is an idea(l) that a game so (relatively) simple to control can conquered just as easily.

If you want to cure that itch, watch a playthrough of the game (particularly Markiplier's) or, better yet, play a similarly simple game like Man In Gap.

Getting a score of 50 (and all three medals) isn't easy but it can be done...eventually. ~_^

Treat it as casually as any other 'coffee break game'.

Have fun. ^_^

Or Planescape:Torment or Battle Circuit or Jump Ultimate Stars.

It doesn't mean that we can't study the 'flawed diamonds' and learn from the developers' mistakes/triumphs.

That genre-redefining (mature/crossover) fantasy RPG isn't going to make itself...yet. ^_^

Then how about getting Hello Neighbor instead?

Wouldn't that bonsai simulator game be better fitting? Someone should try playing it while chopping onions. :D

Ha ha ha. I'm going to pass on that. There's a difference between being clumsy as a purposeful game mechanic and being totally broken.

You can download the original game it's based on, Sexy Hiking, here:

Why am I not suprised you play that game?!?
I bought Getting Over It on the Humble Store a while ago since it's DRM-free there. Honestly, I really enjoy it and don't find it rage-inducing at all. I'll sound like a crazy person saying this, but sometimes when I'm in a really bad mood I'll play Getting Over It for a bit and it makes me feel fine again. In some ways, it's more of an art game than anything else.

Just for the record, I do not own or play it. :P I learned my lesson about shovelware when I bought Hatred.
