Also, the laws do NOT forbid selling such video games at all. GOG should just sell it. The only thing that people think forbid it is that games were not classified as art in 1992. If GOG would stop being an asshole, it could fight here, it could make video games count as art in Germany and as such exempt from that "nazis must be protected" law.

By the way DRM is restriction after sale, if you haven't bought it then it's technically still DRM free... DRM has nothing to do with your ability to buy something.
DRM also is restriction OF sale because or reasons.
And in this case it is the usual racism against Germans that I expected not to see on GOG.

I'm not from Germany, but a little research says otherwise:

Nope like Australia, both refuse to get there crap together when it comes to gaming. Has anyone ever stopped and think maybe GOG didn't realize it was against the law in Germany until they started working on there German version and got (German probably) lawyers involved?

All the fuss over a game, a vast majority of Germans GOGers and gamers in general probably don't really care about. There simply mad at the situation.
Looks like GOG got some bad counsel from lawyers afraid for their butts, because DAS GROSS CENSORSHIP JERMAINE COMMITTEE IS AFRAID OF ZE SPIELEN UND SIE MUSSEN PROTEKTIEREN DIE GLORIOUS NAZIS FROM EVIL GAYMERS WHO WANTS TO KILL ZEM ALL.
GoG can’t topple governments…

That’s your job. :)

DRM = Digital Rights Management

Selling to people of one race or country but not to another in a digital store is exactly that.

You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means

Really Google DRM... the definition states:

Digital Restrictions Management (DRM) is any technology that is built into an electronic product or service with the aim of limiting its range of uses after purchase.

This has been what DRM is since DRM pretty much started, in no way has DRM ever been about if you can purchase a product by being limited on a site. DRM is a limitation or restriction of software. The software is not restricted at all, your ability to buy it is.

Here's a list of games that will most likely be not buyable from Germany anymore on GOG. Enjoy!

Theoretically, I can indict GOG at the police for advertising those games to minors in Germany.
So here goes the argument of following German laws when removing the Commandos games.

Well, briefly. They tend to immediately lose them afterwords.

Protoss: Only if that bar is from a country where selling it to a minor is allowed and the minor is from a country where it is not allowed.

depends on how much you have been drinking....

Question is: why don't german gamers do that? Why you call out others to do it for you?
