Due to expiring licensing rights, Tesla Effect will be delisted from our catalog on Thursday, May 7th, 3pm UTC.

For everyone who purchased it prior to delisting, the game will remain in their GOG library.

Update: We have received an Update and the game will not be removed at this date.

thanks for the heads-up. I assume it's delisting from Steam too
Wow, that's a bit of an unexpected shock!

I hope Big Finish Games can bring the game back to GOG somehow.
SEGA is involved in this, what a surprise.
Sorry to see it go, it will tear the collection apart. Maybe GOG can work out something with Chris Jones

Thank you GOG very much for the heads up. I waited so long to get it but never did :/. I guess now or never. Is this the first ever stickied game removal notice in the history of GOG? I certainly don't remember seeing those stickied tho. Cheers

This is the first time, to make the delisting posts more visible they will be stickied until the games are delisted.

Wonderful stuff. Really means a lot to us. Now it will be more visible for those that want snag a copy before the inevitable. Removals are bad tho, the less of those, the better ;).

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

No, Tex delisted this cannot happen. Will immediately try to contact Chris or anybody else from Big Finish / Atlus so they could expand the license. I cannot imagine that they would want this to be delisted.

It's probably the publisher who has the last word on this in this case which is not Chris unfortunately.
I just saw that Atlus isn't the publisher anymore as well - it's SEGA ... will have to contact them as well then.

Thank you. About time they were made more noticeable.

+1 from me too for listening to our requests here!
So...

I'm assuming that doesn't bode too well for The Poisoned Pawn being on GOG when (and if) it finally releases.

That depends on the publisher (not sure if it will be the same). So far we also don't know if the actual publisher actually did not WANT to have Tesla here anymore or if licenses just expired and maybe were forgotten top renew. Those things happened in the past as well.
We'll see if it leaves Steam too, that would indicate something like music or likeness rights.
