firstpastthepost: I actually think it getting pulled right away is the least likely thing that will happen. If Telltale says that they’ll finish the game or asks for more time then I doubt any store front will pull it. There have been plenty of broken or abandoned games on the gog storefront now. Why would this be any different?
Even though until Telltale has officially confirmed this it is still a rumour multiple sources have confirmed that those remaining 25 people will not work on TWD anymore - this one will be cancelled. It seems likely that they'll still release this final episode 2 but that's about it then.

wasn't episode 2 to be released on the 25th of september? In 3 days already?
In the end it is quite sad, I had hoped that some day GOG would add "Jurassic Park" ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/201830/Jurassic_Park_The_Game/ ), as campy as it may be, but now this chance has sailed forever. :(

And JP is one game that was DRM-free on TTG when they still sold it.

LootHunter: No. Why would you think that?
by what you typed about superiors and stuff.

tremere110: I'm waiting for the "THQ Nordic acquires Telltale Games" post.
...and hires original team to complete last seasons of Batman, Game of Thrones and The Wolf Among Us.

PaterAlf: If it's true, I'm sad. I like their games and I was looking forward to The Wolf Among Us 2.
Same. I really enjoyed the first Walking Dead game and The Wolf Among Us. I didn't even know they were working on a TWAU sequel, so that makes the news even more of a downer. I wonder what happened... ? I thought their games were reasonably successful.

That said, I didn't like the second season of TWD as much as the first, so maybe the quality of their games and storytelling gradually went downhill? It seems they were pumping out a lot of these games in recent years, so maybe it was a case of quantity over quality?
I was hoping the Bone games would come to GOG one day. Those were fantastic games by TellTale.

Seems unlikely now. ) :
I suppose this was inevitable. Their engine was outdated and they admitted multiple times they were taking on more projects than they could manage.
As an adventure game fan this saddens me. They did move away from traditional point and click games but it seemed like they put the genre back on the map as a AAA company. We also are seeing less and less come out and games that do come out are quickly bundled after, which indicates they didn't sell well.

I wonder how much bundling keys and G2A played in their demise.

Telltale lost Bone licence years ago, so it was not going to happen ever anyway.

In a fictional universe though, I would like to see their CSI games being sold. It's the most rare of their game franchises, I think, I have never seen those games sold anywhere and have never played them either.

Most people don't even know Telltale ever made those games.
