Hey guys! Lars Doucet, lead Developer of Defender's Quest here.

A friend of mine, Craig Stern, is trying to raise some funding for his new Strategy RPG, Telepath Tactics. I've been following this one for over a year and I can personally attest to it being a great game. He's running a kickstarter now (I know, I know), but unlike all the other fly-by-night projects out there this one is worth supporting.

He has a great track record of finishing games, and writes some really insightful things about game design at http://www.sinisterdesign.com. He's also very realistic about budget, etc.

I've decided to put my money where my mouth is with this one. I just gave Craig 200 free copies of Defender's Quest+Soundtrack to give out as backer rewards.

Of course, some of you might not be able to afford the pledge level where that reward is given out. So to get the ball rolling, I'm publicly posting 10 free codes for Defender's Quest right here in this forum.

It is also worth pointing of, to anyone who is worried about the kickstarter, that the guy behind it has completed a game in the past (Telepath RPG), so he is not a person with am ambition to make a game, but no insight into how much work it is.

And bummer, I closed the tab that I used to redeem the game with :( Any idea if it is possible to check what code I redeemed?

Didn't take one, because I already own this wonderful game.

He's actually completed 3 games, there were 2 other RPGs before Servants of God.

I already have Defender's Quest, and I've already pledged to Telepath Tactics, so I'll just say that anyone who likes tactical RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics should take a good look at Telepath Tactics. There's a demo.


Edit: Oh, and Lars I forgot to say you did great work on Defender's Quest. I'm not a fan of tower defense games, but I had a lot of fun with your game.
I hope you do others of the same quality (and sell them through GOG of course :p)

I've been eyeing Telepath Tactics since I listened to him on a TruePCGaming.com podcast. It sounds like it could be an interesting game, but tactical RPGs can go either way for me so I am still on the fence about this one. I think I'll check out his other games first, because they sound very cool in terms of story and concept.
