Thanks for the freebie. As always, it is much appreciated.
Nice to see more Microprose games. They have some good stuff available on steam, which I hope we'll get here one day.

Anyway, good job, GOG! If you keep this rhythm until the end of the sale, then you'll be getting a new CP2077 pre-order from me.
Apparently the Warcraft 1 and 2 bundle was one of the best games of the 2010s.

So I take it that B-17 Flying Fortress: World War II Bombers in Action is a remake of the 1992 original, not the actual DOSBox powered original? Can anyone confirm?

There's no usual "Powered by DOSBox" tag on it and the release date is 2021...

Thank you so much GoG/Goblinz Studio / Mi-Clos Studio for the Giveaway!

Also, I am glad to see that B-17 Flying Fortress is back!

It is renamed, apparently. It can be because there is another remake in the works and probably it will adquire the title the oldie had.

About if it is powered under DOSBOX, my bet is that it is the 1992 classic via DOSBOX. The requirements are the same any DOSBOX game use to mention. Not mentioning that the graphics are those of the oldie game.

Obviously not sure but I can confirm it later.
Nice, thanks for the free game and for 1992 classic B-17.

There's a Windows front-end program which has a few configuration options (which map to known DOSBox settings - scaler, aspect ratio, full screen, audio device, etc). Inside the installed directory is the game directory itself (with reassuring all caps filenames and the original INSTALL.EXE), a separate dosbox directory and a config directory with a partial dosbox.conf in it. I guess the wrapper executable is supplying a command line with the extra params.

So it looks like it would be easy to extract it and run it on original hardware or just remove the wrapper and "complete" the dosbox.conf to make it like a normal GOG DOSBox game. Having said that, I don't know if every file from the original is included so don't hold me to that!
Thank you Good Old Games for the Sigma Theory: Global Cold War giveaway.

And also the awesome collections with the Game of the Decade Theme in mind, but, hey, you left out some great games that surely should have been there.

The 90’s…
Good shot there with Master of Orion and Freespace 2, but why not Homeworld and Riven the Sequel to Myst (Forget Myst).

The 00’s…
Hmm… there are some fair games here, but, where is Deus Ex.

Don’t get me wrong, I know that these games I’m missing are still around on a great discount.
But my point is, they should been here, honored with the title “Best games of each decade”.

Anyway, no worries, you know how likes and taste are, it’s like the butt, divided ;)
Fying Fortress classic is detected as unknown game in Galaxy. Anyone with the same problem?

Thank you. It's pretty much certain at this point it's the "DOSBox-ed" original. Strange that they wouldn't mark it as such then. Perhaps it's simply an oversight.
Finally a dedicated sale page like the past years!
Still not as complete as the others, but better than the usual games list.
Thanks for the giveaway.
