Well as it seems the same applies for Banner Saga 1 which has been patched to 2.36.16 which corresponds with the latest patch on Steam (although it's called 2.36.15 there)

fronzelneekburm: (RWS are just trolling us at this point - no P1 updates, no P2 DLC, no P1 Redux, all despite repeated promises to the contrary).

Grargar: Not sure if you are bothering with the mix anymore, but the first Postal has just received its way-overdue update:
https://www.gog.com/forum/postal_series/postal_classic_and_uncut_has_been_updated_pc_mac/post47
Yeah, it's still (barely) alive and kicking.

Anyway, I removed Postal 1, Banner Saga 1 and Banner Saga 2 (unless that one is also out of date, in which case I'll have to re-add it).

Punch Club is a bit of a strange case. I was about to add it some time ago, then I read all the posts from the last page and the bottom line seems to be that the latest patch was just to some Steamworks-stuff and didn't really concern the game in itself at all. Am I missing something here? I don't want to add a game over something that doesn't even apply to the gog version anyway.

The last patch for Punch club introduces easy mode and GOG version still suffers from this bug which was fixed last March. It should definitely be added to this mix as developer doesn't even respond to messages and forum posts.

Ok, added!
Please add 'No Man Sky' to, 'bog, Bad Old Games' gogmix. Thanx

This is a thread about games that treat users of GOG as lesser people; with no patches, lesser content, or versions outright incompatible/broken with others.

Not to mention, I'm fairly certain that the "BOG" already contained NMS. Besides, the GOGMixes are typically made by a singular user.

All that applies to NMS, and no, its not on that list. Its not too terribly old of a product, however. I will try and contact that list starter, elsewhere. Thank you for your help. I am ust trying to spread the word, media really overhyped it. This thread and its 32pgs of posts, is far too much for me to read, and hold onto my sanity. Maybe a mod, or bot can move this. Thanks.

Does it? This mix applies to games that are inferior here when compared to versions from other stores (usually, Steam). As far as I know, you'll get the same NMS treatment, whether you buy the game here or on Steam.

If we're talking about that mix:
https://www.gog.com/mix/bog_bad_old_games
then it's the very last game with the description: "Poor performance, repetitive, overhyped" -SakSak

Sorry, but I fear we couldn't blame it on the media. It were gamers worldwide who hyped it (based on some interviews and a few screenshots) and pre-ordered like crazy.
You can add Turok to your mix. According to this post the GOG version is missing the level editor:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/weekly_sale_vol_6_system_shock_2_etherlords_blitzkrieg_anthology_f54aa/post38

Is there an update on when the Turok level editor will finally arrive on GOG? Steam users are able to create stuff since December 22nd. It's the only reason I'm eager to buy Turok again, the original PC version still runs fine on my machine. I really want to mess with the level editor. Come on, GOG. Please make it happen.

Impaler26:
Yeah, it's supposed to be added to the gog version according to a post from Night Dive in the comments to this video. (Click "view replies" to see it)

Wrong. After release, just as before, their vids showed gameplay, as being something different, than what it actually was released to be. The very fact that reviews were made on a different product, than the version the public was sold, should be enough to place it on this list. But so many other things went wrong as well.

After fixes, upon looking into the inventory of game dev, Sean's, player's inventory during an advertised ingame play review, loot items with similar but differently named loot, existed, spelling out fraud and lies, and a direction change, towards microtransactions and pixel repurchasing. Everyone, not just prepurchasers, and hypsters, become affected, with that.

This, which does nothing to even, touch the tip of an enormous iceberg, pricing in multi, which only works in NMS with an unlisted networking mass media app, which is required for its game to actually work, ie. provide the faithfully shopping, EULA user, an enjoyable multi experience.

Both Steam and GOG users are in the same boat for that. No Man's Sky isn't outdated here when compared to Steam, therefore it doesn't belong on the list. Now whether the trailers lied by showing different gameplay videos than what was asked or not is a different matter. In the end, the Steam and GOG versions are identical in treatment and updates, so it in't a game that treats GOG customers as second class citizens, it didn't treat Steam players any better.

Oh yes, No Man's Sky. We've had this conversation before, didn't we?

I haven't changed my stance on the subject one bit. If anything, someone should create a "I put money down on empty promises and got burned hard"-gogmix. I'm serious. Put No Man's Sky in there. Put all the games in there that overpromised and underdelivered in there. "Torment" (up for pre-order now) would be another candidate, considering that numerous features which were explicitly promised as stretch goals during the Kickstarter campaign got axed. Put "Among The Sleep in there - a game which I absolutely LOVE, but they made Oculus-integration an essential part of their sales pitch and it didn't come to fruition.

But no, as of now, none of those titles qualify for this gogmix.

I'm asking about this in the GOG BizDev Q&A, perhaps others also want to ask about this if it's important to them:
