Vingry: I'm just gonna say, resorting to saying that whatever it is that you have stated to be sarcasm is probably one of the most common (and in my opinion, kinda lame) saves used by many people.
Oh shoot, what he said was sarcasm. Don't worry, I'll just say my reply was also a sarcasm. Not that I don't believe you, but I'm just saying. Either that, or you Sir, or Ma'am, are a sarcasm expert!
Mafwek: I don't need to save. OP was obviously a joke (Half-Like 3 FFS), stating something which sounded like exaggerated Steam fanboy/GOG hater, so I played along and answered as a typical hater.
Yeah, the exaggeration in your reply really gave it away anyway. And actually, I did want to edit that comment of mine and have it deleted, but for some reason, I really didn't feel like it. Probably due to the fact that I've encountered so many uncivilized (a little too much perhaps) people, mainly on YouTube, who would reply exactly the way that you did in response to logical arguments that other people had made in the comments section. However, my apologies for directing that feeling of contempt towards you.
P.S.: I don't think you deserve the amount of dislikes directed towards your posts here.
thomq: Uhm, that's like saying if people don't get your jokes then you must be a great comedian...
Or was "you are a sarcasm expert" sarcasm? This is so confusing...
Just to be clear, the occasions that I'm referring to in which such tactic could sometimes be appropriate, are those times when the people doing it are trying to get away from a predicament such as being the only one having misunderstood someone's comment that they had already made a reply to, and retracting back what they had said by calling it a sarcasm or something like that. And sure, it's not always the case as apologizing is often the easiest way out to take.
(I'm sorry, but I honestly don't quite understand on what you were trying to imply with that first sentence of yours)
Anyway, it was a mistake on my part for reading too deep into the situation.
