This is very annoying, having to keep signing into GOG EVERYTIME I visit this site, it's imcredibly annoying and it's put me off enen buying games on this site now. I don't want the hassle of putting in my password every damn visit, GOG was never like this a month ago.

Most others complain about how our accounts aren't safe enough so I doubt GOG will take your criticism into consideration.

Have you started using CCleaner? If so, you can manually set which cookies it does and doesn't delete.

Alternatively, have you told your browser to clear cookies when you exit?

Would it be possible that it's your PC settings and not GOG. I've never experienced this and you are only one of a very tiny few that I have heard complain about this tbh.

Let me guess: You're using Firefox with NoScript, Ghostery, FlashBlock and AdBlock and you told your Firefox to clear cache and cookies whenever you close it. Yes, this is a pretty safe set-up. But GOG can't stop "signing you out" as long as you're doing this ;)

Actually I have the same problem in Firefox on Linux. I have no ad block stuff. Almost every time I open a new tab with GOG I randomly get signed out or something...

i clear all things aswell on browser close /exit
but i dont mind logging in an typing the password everytime, if its safer that way. sometimes when i am logged in (FF is my default browser) the login button still shows.
Also when checking my replies i usally rightclick on them and open in new tab, apparently this wont refresh the state so the x number of repleis will stay there, so then i go back tot gog main page and then refresh then the notifications are gone.

Maybe its a FF thing (i have IE and chrome)but i stick with FF cause IE is bad and chrome is well not as friendly as FF is.

I've been experiencing the same thing. I have Chrome and Adblock Plus (which I've had for at least a year), and haven't changed any settings recently. The signing-out just started happening this past week. However, I wasn't thinking it was definitely a problem yet as I haven't rebooted my PC very recently (usually reboot it once a week or so). If I remember I'll update this after I reboot.

Many people are experiencing the same problem. There are multiple threads about it. It is not user ineptitude. It's GOG's fault..

Try cleaning out your cookies and active logins... possibly cleaning your cache and offline files. This solved it for me.

Looks like a very similar problem popped up in January/February of this year as well.

I'm on Chrome. I have the same extensions running I always have, but I experience this problem as well. In place of the "Account" button, there is the "Sign UP/Log IN" button, so I cannot for instance access my chat without logging in. However, the forums behave as if I'm logged in.
