muntdefems: Shadow of Mordor GOTY is 85% off on Fanatical for 24h.

I don't suppose it's actually DRM-free (i.e. doesn't need the Steam client to run), is it?
Doesn't look like it.
D'oh, it didn't occur to me to search this very thread. :P

OK, just as I thought. Won't be getting it then...

Same goes for windows (tested it myself on win7) in case somebody would want to know.
The Amnesia collection (which consists of both games, The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs which both work without the Steam client) is free again on Steam for a limited time.

As always, thanks for the contributions! I'll be updating the wiki soon here. Also, I just tested the Steam version of A Hat in Time (which is on sale right now) in Windows, and it is also DRM-free. :D

I'm sorry for you, but here I come with a bunch of new entries and confirmations for Linux versions of Steam games (and there are a few more to come :P)

· GoNNER: Works out of the box.

· Kingdom Rush Frontiers: Works out of the box.

· Mr Shifty: Works out of the box.

· Party Hard: Works out of the box. Includes its own steam_appid.txt file, but it doesn't make any difference whether it's there or not. The build here on GOG is more up to date than the Steam one!!!

· The Final Station: Works out of the box.

· The Mind of Marlo: Works out of the box.

Already in the Wiki (and confirmed for Linux)

· Action Henk: Works out of the box. Includes its own steam_appid.txt file, but it doesn't make any difference whether it's there or not.

· Lovely Planet: Works out of the box.

· Lucius Demake: Works out of the box.

· Paranautical Activity: Deluxe Atonement Edition: Works out of the box.

· Quest for Infamy: Works out of the box.

· Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut: Works. It cannot find some needed libraries so you've got to pre-load them manually when running the executable: "LD_PRELOAD=./Dragonfall_Data/Plugins/x86/libsteamwrap.so:./Dragonfall_Data/Plugins/x86/libsteam_api.so ./Dragonfall"

· Slain: Back from Hell: Works out of the box.

And today a couple more Artifex Mundi games: some of them already in the wiki, while others are new. All tested on Linux, as usual.

Are you sure those are completely new to the wiki? Dark Arcana was one of the first Artifex Mundi games I have reported here afair.

I'm not saying they never were in the wiki, but I surely cannot see them there now. :)

Then somebody must have missed to add it. At least I was not wrong that I already mentioned it here.
Afterfall Insanity

To bad this game is not on Steam anymore. A fun shooter in the style of Dead Space-gameplay.
It was free for as limited time on IndieGala a few years ago.
Some info about why: http://steamcommunity.com/app/224420/discussions/0/282992646984341629/

For people who still have a key or have the game in their Steam library. It's drm-free.

Go to Binaries/Win32 and start "InSanity-Win32-Shipping.exe"

Chaos Domain

Go to Binaries/Win32 and start "cdgame.exe"

First delete "steamclient.dll" (same folder), otherwise you get two errors first before the game starts.

Super Killer Hornet

Maybe someone likes it! :-P
