I have copies of the Witcher: Enhanced edition and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced edition on both Steam and GOG is it possible to link the two and have both track my hours. also I have witcher 3 and all its DLC but only on steam is it possible to "import" the game as well as the save and hours?

EDIT: GOG does have a thing where apparently you can link your steam account to your GOG account and some games transfer over but I don't know exactly what that entails.

I don't think so, since time tracking is done by the clients (Galaxy or Steam client). You can run the game only through one of them at a time, thus time tracking will only be available in the one you're actually using.

You could try to add the installed Steam version manually to Galaxy, but it will probably lack the Galaxy libraries. Hence it won't be fully integrated into Galaxy and achievements as well as time tracking might not work, but I haven't tried myself (since I don't use Steam).

I'm going to guess the answer is no for 2 reasons:
1. GOG & Steam are completely seperate companies.
2. They both have different clients (one optionally has no client) which I can't imagine will communicate with each other very well.

I would play using only one as this would then track hours fully, or you could add up the hours on GOG & Steam to find your total.

Why is it so important to know how much of your life you've devoted to a game?

It goes like the
10 minutes, 1/2 hour, over an hour, many hours, hours but not days, days but I've not got a problem, one game of CIV5, a few weeks, months, casual WoW gamer, and so on until, found dead at keyboard still waiting for his tier 9 drop.

No. It I not possible for bot of your questions

BTW, the one you're talking in your edit is gog connect. It is a promotion that only occurs for limited time only. For example, shadowrun games were once available in gog connect for about a week so if you have it on steam but not on gog, you can use gog connect to add the game into you gog game library. So far nothing related to the witcher 3 made available on gog connect promo
