I can't get through season 1 of DS9. I've seen episodes here and there of later seasons that were fantastic, but I couldn't get to them in linear fashion. I'll have to give it a go some time. For me, I have lots of TOS and DS9 to go, but I've seen all the rest. Oh, wait. I've only seen 1 cartoon. :)

Oh come on. Little Green Men is great.

Alright now onto season 7 the final season.

That was a very strange episode.

lower decks
it focuses on the cadets and ensigns none of the "name" characters or the crew

...and i believe i warned you about sub rosa

personally i like
dark page ( gives another layer to lwaxanna )
phantasms ( lets just say its weird )
force of nature ( nonsensical but i just like it )
inheritance ( more from data's past )
parralles ( a worf episode a GOOD worf episode o.o and one i like at that !)
the pegasus ( starfleet is not squeeky clean after all )
and emergence ( dawn of new life )

i just like these episodes i wont say that they are the best of season 7 other then lower decks
they are just my personal favorites

Thanks so far in this entire series my thoughts:

I find Data a bit overrated. Not so much the character but the actor. The actor has the look of a Comedian trying his best to play it straight and emotionless. I am on team Spock in this regard. I find Spock's outburst of emotion much more stronger than Data's but than again the movies might convince me otherwise.

Picard is awesome. No question

Riker, I think I am following Telika's example but not to dispargingly. I just find Riker a bit too bland, he is too Normal of the group. If anything he could have been the Captain Kirk of this series.

Worf is cool, love his voice, and has great moments and episodes (Only episode I am not fond of was birthright)

I don't hate Troi as much as other fans of the show.

Beverly, One episode I did like was Suspicision.

Geordi sadly is also on the bland side along with Riker imo.

Wesly was just there, I don't hate him as much as most fans do, to me he was just background character.

Tasha Yar :P Not a good first impression when I see here lusting for Data.

Guinan was a surprise. Whoopi Goldberg certainly acted well.

Best: Inheritance, Parallels, The Pegasus, Lower Decks, Thine Own Self and All Good Things... It's a great finale, one of the best series finales of all TV shows I know. Possibly THE best.

Masks is all kinds of weird, and most people don't like it much, but I do.

Worst, other than Sub Rosa, probably Interface and Attached, but I would not call either of those outright bad, unlike Sub Rosa.

Last season than I finally get to see the movies at last for the first time. (Never have I seen them for myself and it has been a LONG time since I have watched Plinkett and Nostalgia Critic's reviews so I forgotten most of the movie)

I don't agree with you about Data, I love the character and I think Spiner did a marvellous job with the character. Honestly, while I might like Spock more, I'd say Spiner had too be much more versatile with Data (not to mention Lore and Dr. Soong).

And I like Riker a lot. He is the "normal guy", but I find him very likeable, and I think it's good he did not end up as a Kirk clone. He is somewhere betwee Kirk and Picard, a man of action but also thoughtful, cool under pressure, not quite as quick as Kirk, but maybe a bit wiser. Maybe I like him because he is not easily defined by his race, or some other one characteristic like Geordi's visor, or his rank. He might be the most rounded character of the series, and is definately the most relatable.

Guinan is probably Whoopi Goldberg's best role. I'm dead serious.

I mostly agree about the others. And Picard is the best, of all characters of all Treks.

Mind you I don't hate Data or Riker, I love the moments when they shined. I especially like it when Riker is in Command of the Enterprise when Picard is unavailible.

I liked the episode where Data see's his creator and SPOILER BUT NOT REALLY SHOCKING, he looks like Data.

Also the movies I said it myself before on this thread. I am going to watch and judge the TNG movies as a person who has watched the ENTIRE TNG series.

Generations appearently was not the worthy first movie for TNG (my intial impression is that its a rather harmless movie like The Motion Picture)

First Contact suffers from Wrath of Khan syndrome in that its the only good one of the TNG movies (which I really cannot wait to see that movie)

Inssurection already has the trophy for arguably worst Star Trek movie of TNG era or even the worst movie of Star Trek period.

Nemesis broke the "Even Numbered Good, Odd Numbered bad" for being a "bad" even numbered movie, but again I am gonna see it for myself.

And who knows mabye my opinion will be different when I will see these movies.

My opinion of the TOS movies were not of the mainstream thought. I thought 1 and 3 were good movies, 5 was not the worst movie I've ever seen, I am not a fan of 4.

That was because Brent Spiner's ego demanded double billing. Why have one name on the marquis when you can have two? I'm sorry, I forgot Lore... make that three names.

The episode where Data meets up with his Dad and brother... brother's keeper or something, can't remember the name of the episode. Spiner played all 3 characters.
