Surprise no one is talking about it.

Anyway I just came back from the movie and imo this movie is surprisingly decent.

Here is the basic jist I see this movie as a kind of reboot but also a celebration of the Terminator franchise with SO many references to the first 2 movies.

Arnold still got it playing as the Terminator.

The movie starts off as a "remake" of the very first Terminator but than almost immedietly it delves into a completely new story. Let's just say it turns into Terminator 2 but in our current day of today with all the smartphones and internets, etc. But with a huge twist in what became the main antagonist.

The only criticism people bash about this movie is how it uses time travel. Let's say in my opinion that time has become polluted that history is becoming fluid.

And well yeah I wish this movie was R rated, but the action was good regardless, especially the helicopter sequence.

All in All this is a good sequal/reboot of a nostalgic franchise. There are moments where you will laugh.

Funny Terminator as of now is treated well along side Jurassic Park while Robocop was handled by incompetants :P

First two movies were good. Is this current one supposed to be a sequel? Or reboot?.

Let's just say its at least worth a watch.

Like I said imo its treated more like a celebration of the first 2 movies. And Arnold will certainly not dissipoint you ;)

I say the best comparison is that this movie is to Terminator what "Predators" is to the Predator franchise. With this movie being slightly higher than Predators.

I've liked every Terminator movie so far. Haven't seen the new one yet...

Ditto. Terminator 3 was such a disappointment that i haven't looked/considered anything else they put out. Also hearing reviews (Salvation?) how the plot twists made no sense and were stupid and broke the logic of the movie how it should have ended 5 minutes after it started (or something like that).

i have seen 3 and 4 and of those two 4 is the better movie mostly because it was interesting to see the early stages of the war

It's a sequal/reboot/celebration of the franchise. If it compares to anything I say the movie "ended up" being Terminator 2 but in 2015. (Here in this movie its 2017) Not initially mind you.

I seen 3, then gave up on the series after seeing it. Still haven't seen salvation and most likely won't ever see it.

To this day I still don't know why people dislikes Terminator 3, even when looking at it now instead of back than when it released?

You average toilet paper commercial was better than 3. :P

It's does NOT have that "Terminator" feel. If anything you could have mistaken the movie for any random post apocalyptic Sci Fi.

The post Judgement Day Earth is alot more memorable in the first movie than Salvation. Heck I forgotten what the movie looks like. It was that bland.

Besides Terminator is at its best when we are seeing the Terminator go back in time.
Again what's the beef?

Sorry to take away from that special feeling, but I also liked it :) The first film remains the king though
