All right so on certain games ( I think games that run on direct x 10 ) I get blue screens and I can never figure out what actually causes it apart from directX ( looking at these minidumps ) every other game seems to work fine and all my drivers are up to date it also is not an overheating issue so I am out of ideas any help would be appreciated.

Here is some minidump information:

what games?

xxxIndyxxx: what games?
That report was from the most recent one I tried Devil may cry 4.

It has also happened with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and Red Faction Guerilla after I forced it into direct x 9 or 10 mode
Did you do a clean reinstall of the driver? Is your video card overclocked?

By chance, have you tried just pasting those two lines together into Google? I get a lot of really good-looking results from Tom's Hardware, Microsoft Support, techsupportforum, and several other places that tend to have quality advice - and that's just on the first page of results.
Have you tried BlueScreenView? That program gives more information on BSOD's on Windows.

I have not tried a clean reinstall yet, my card is GeForce GTX 780 Ti OC edition so I imagine it is overclocked to some degree

Basically all I found doing that is people saying to update drivers or return the graphic card or overheating issues

That is what I have used to gather this information, is there any other information I should extract from it?

Is it a new card? Did you install it yourself? If so double check if you did it right? Maybe some small oversight? Do you have it with every game?

BlueScreenView should also display the name of the BSOD that you're encountering. It's listed in all caps with underscores like "DRIVER_LEFT_LOCKED_PAGES_IN_PROCESS." Which BSOD is being triggered by the "dxgkrnl.sys" file?

Everything works just fine from Skyrim to Darksouls or Assassins creed 4 on max details and what not not a single issue, only happens on a handful of games well those 3 I have mentioned

Then I am out of ideas. I would however give a clean driver install a chance...

I seem to be unable to find this bit of information

Load up the BlueScreenView program, make sure you're looking at the latest MiniDump file, and locate the "Bug Check String" field. That will tell you the kind of BSOD that you're encountering.

That is actually empty but there is the bug check code 0x00000116
it is empty on all 4 blue screens I have ever had

That's odd. All BSODs should have some kind of identification. What version of Windows are you running?
