Pidgeot:
Thanks for the script. At the end of the sale I will feed its output into MaGog to record all the deals for posterity (as MaGog is not actively monitoring this sale -- it's too fast for her).

BTW, are the three consecutive Lords of Xulima deals real or an artifact of the script?

Artifact caused by having to restart it a couple of times for minor improvements.

As a rule of thumb, if two identical offers appear one after another, it's because something went wrong or I made a small improvement - which means restarting the script, which means it doesn't remember where it "was", so to speak. I haven't cleaned that up in the logs yet.

It can also be verified by checking the detailed list, which keeps track of how many copies are left. If an offer went up twice in a row, you'd see a large increase in the number of copies as the second one was supposed to start.

HunchBluntley: I am aware. :) but I would still be rather surprised if they just left it at that, unchanged apart from a lower price, and called it a day. For one thing, the name of that package isn't particularly compelling.
Maybe they might rename it to Complete Edition when the second expansion is released. It's not the first time that GOG has renamed games.
A new Insomnia!!! YEAH

phaolo: Ah, too bad :(
I'm not saying it's all bad, and I haven't played it myself, I'm just repeating what I've read, but it doesn't take me much effort to imagine grinding for loot in dungeons becoming ming-numbingly repetitive.

In other news. I've got a pending order for Hunie Pop...
I know the core of the game is a 3-of-a-kind puzzle game, and I'm not too big on those.

Should I simply skip it?

If you don't like Match-3 games, Huniepop will not change your mind.
Mhm, it is a little annoying how fast the games are sold out.
I just went for The Dig, there was no way to purchase it via the store page (maybe I'm just slow...).

I don't dislike them but they get old fast.

I did spend quite a few hours playing animatch on the GP2X
But I'll heed your advice.

Finally got The Dig! And I was able to nab Convoy earlier. I hope there's a new set of games soon!

It got old for me after 20 hours, but I generally like Match-3 games. It doesn't really reinvent the genre, it just adds a different coat of paint to it. In other words, it's not as good as Puzzle Quest.
ok, does anyone else feel like the insomnia sale is lacking it's insanity b/c the games are in such small groupings? like before, there would have been 250 kerbals and we'd have waited hours for it to change. am i crazy to miss the random fluctuation in how quickly things went?

That's funny, I was thinking the same thing. What was the game that took 6 hours to clear, was that Jack Keane?

No two Insomnias have been the same. So...I guess it's keeping with that tradition.

Nope, you are not alone with that. Something is really missing from this sale, it is kind of boring.
