BillyMaysFan59: They're probably both Sword of the Samurai
Exactly.

Running a new setup on KDE 5, will upload a screenshot soon.
Here is my setup. Running Ubuntu MATE with some old school Duke Nukum. Along with a sad reddit post....nothing is more sad than a sad penguin ;(

Mine hasn't changed in awhile. Still running Arch, with openbox + plank + dzen2 / conky. Pretty minimalistic, and that's what I like about it. Small title bars, small info bar at the top. Plank autohides if there is a window under it. Openbox provides for great keyboard shortcuts, so I have ton's of shortcuts for window management, which kind of mimics windows 7's aero snap, but better, because it's with a keyboard instead of a mouse.

PoE

And here's the empty desktop

And the best Arch wallpaper ever, with a little bit of Escape Goat!
My new Mate wallpaper along with a black theme and new icons. It's still Mint 17.1 under the hood but I may switch to OpenSUSE in the near future, just have to resolve a few issues with the OS.

Anyone looking for a copy of the wallpaper, it can be found here: http://www.wallpaperup.com/56446/mountains_stars_blur_bokeh_Milky_Way_waiting_skies.html :-)

Speaking of plank, do you know where there is some documentation for it?
Age of Wonders on a GNOME 3 desktop
Arcanum in Openbox + xfrun4
Terarria on something that looks like an XFCE 4 desktop

Here you go for more ;)

This thread make me nostalgic for my Linux days. I think I'll install a second hard disk and use Windows 7 as a secondary O.S.
Since the last Slackware version is two years old (I hope Patrick Volkerding is ok), I might try one of its descendant or a GOG supported distribution.

MrPointless: My desktop. Antergos with Cinnamon (both panels are on autohide).

It's pretty much a fresh install (like, right before GOG's Linux launch, conveniently) and I've spent more time than I cared to faffing about trying to find themes to my liking (in other words, something bloody consistent and not partially broken). I think I'm likely to take one of the window manager themes I've downloaded from Gnome-Look and just rework it into something I can bear. :|
I know I'm replying to an old post, but I just found this thread. Thanks for this screenshot. I never heard of Digitally Imported before. It was a great find for me.

InkPanther: Just Ubuntu here, nothing really fancy but works for me.
This is crazy,.. they don't ship ".desktop" files?! O_o

I use DBGL as wrapper, but looking for a better alternative. Not that I have so many dostitles.., just some of my soon-to-be-sold mobile hardware sucks.
