javajeff: This is a fun thread where you attach a screenshot of your Linux desktop running a GOG game.

FYI: ALT+ENTER to leave fullscreen, and CTL+F10 to detach mouse. Image needs to be less than 500kb.

Nice to see some other Devin fans out there. :)
Ziltoid 2 is coming out soon! :P

Don't use Linux, but I just had to comment
What! Blasphemy!

Other than it being one of the greatest concept albums out there, it is a progressive metal masterpiece. Anyone that likes Dream Theater, Opeth, or Symphony X should immediately go get it.

I know. I'm in the choir. :)

(assuming that Dev did manage to use all of the ones which were submitted like he was hoping to).

Screenshot of my Mint 17 Cinnamon running in VMWare player.

Making sure I can use my daily stuff before switching, Still missing a few things like Wine and learning how to properly install the nvidia drivers.

As I stated, Fedora 20.

And yeah, I've got Wine installed. Don't rush out to check for a nonexistant Linux version of Foobar2000.

I did that for a long time. I used foobar2000 for music, irfanview for images, context for text editor. And then one day, I thought, I'm not really using Linux. On top of that, every version of wine seemed to bork something (this was back in the 0.9x days). I got fed up and dropped wine for 3 years. I moved to MPD/mpc/ncmpcpp for music, mirage/gimp for images and geany for text editor.

I eventually moved back to using wine. It was actually Torchlight that got me using wine again in late 2009. Incidently, Torchlight was also my first steam purchase ever.

No it isn't. He hasn't even done anything yet except click new game.

Still, nice wallpaper.

Truth to tell, I'd love to try something more native, but I really haven't found anything that just makes everything so seamless when it comes to components. I need something that can play SPC , NSF, GBS, KSS , VGM , NSFE, MOD , XM v1.04 , S3M, Riff AM, and a few other weird formats, like USF, GSF, 2SF, and PSF. Basically anything covered by Game EMU player, and DUMB.
Here is mine (Debian testing / KDE). [Screenshot from running Witcher 2 from GOG in Wine].

It was a new game - I'd never played it before.

Since then, I've managed to die twice :)

I never really found a replacement for foobar. I've tried a lot of options, and settled on mpd. It isn't perfect, but I do like how flexible it is in terms of control.
