After going over the numbers(costs) and options of what I can do and I think I figure'd out the best way of playing "The Witcher 3" is:
Renting a PS4 @ $30 (for a week)
Redbox TW3@ $2 per day (for a week)
So my total (plus some tax) is $47-$50

Hopefully I can beat it in that time frame (which I can get about 75-90 hours in that time frame).

I can't buy components for my computer, it'll cost upwards of $200 (+ a copy of windows if no linux version,+ game)
I have no friends that have a Xbone or PS4.

Does anybody else got any idea's or unorthodox plans for playing The Witcher 3 when it comes out?

---

After some thought there is my original option(which is of course zero cost) though with that last trailer I shied away from and that was to watch the game in a no commentary lets play/walkthrough series on youtube.

I like your idea never to think that way before, don't know either if there's any rent for PS4 around my place.
Are you that keen to play The Witcher 3 on release? Wouldn't it be wiser to wait for the game to be patched up, the expansions to be released so that you have enough to upgrade your pc?

Wait until both the game and a graphics card capable of running it at high settings are cheap. :P

I'm getting married later this year, going to own a house(long story), and need to get a job in couple of months.
I wont have the time or money. (it'll be years before I upgrade my computer, as this is the only game I would need to upgrade it for)
My first thought was, that it would be more reasonable to save up for a while and then permanently purchase a PS4 or upgrades for your PC. But it sounds like you're in a very specific situation, and maybe this really is the best option for you... ? Either way, I hope you'll get to play and enjoy the game. ( Personally I wouldn't want to rush through it over the course of a week, though. It will probably take me months, just to finish the main storyline. )

all legitimate reasons
personally though i wouldnt bother
id be more concerned with working on my massive backlog

however if you dont have a massive backlog or are itching to play the witcher 3 then your solution seems to be the most simplest

75-90 hours in one week?? That's about 11-13 hours per day, which sounds insane to me.

Throwing 50$ for enjoyng a rushed experience seems really a bad idea to me.
Perhaps enduring the wait while building a decent PC and buy the game at a discount seems better.
You ll get all the time to play it to death.

Think this way: with time the game can only become better.
Best thing would be...wait.
Wait until you can run the game, no matter if that takes a couple of years, you'll be able to buy the game dirty cheap.

To be honest thats some what avg for me.. I put 75 hours in skyrim in less than five days.(And never really played it again)
I think I remember I put like 18+ hours in a 24 hour period for fable 1 when it came out lol

The one thing about all this with what people call "rushing" is what I do with every big game I "REALLY" want to play.
It's like when people watch 4 seasons of breaking bad or game of thrones non-stop.
Now I know I won't finish every side quest but to be honest I'm not sure if all the side quests are going to be worth the time to do.
Rent?

You can still do that?
