Sidatt: Just now I received the Tomb Raider Trilogy for free from Epic Games (Yes, it's real!), and the first two games were added to my GOG Galaxy library almost instantly, whereas the Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition didn't add. I decided to add it manually for now while waiting for it to appear, when I realized that the Definitive Edition doesn't even exist in the search engine.
I'm new here and I have no idea where I should put this, so I just put it here. If it doesn't belong here, please forgive me and let me know where I should put this!!
Same for me!!

I have the same issue, although I was able to find the Definitive Edition in search when searching all titles.

I tried adding it manually, which does start the launcher, but then when the game starts, it redirects to a web page for signing in and then just hangs the game client, which seems to never receive the sign in information. If I launch the game directly from the Epic launcher, the same launcher opens, but sign in is automatic (without redirects).

So, it would appear the trick is finding out how the Epic store application launches the application (with what parameters and possibly environment variables), to be able to add it in Galaxy. Obviously, it should just show up - it would be good to hear from anyone who doesn't currently have this issue for Shadow of the Tomb Raider definitive edition.

The issue is specifically because Epic is giving away the Definitive Edition of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. If you go to add Shadow of the Tomb Raider manually, you'll see that there are six different versions of Shadow of the Tomb Raider already in GOG Galaxy but none of them are the Definitive Edition. This is why it doesn't show up.

Since this version of the game was already in the IGDB, I submitted an edit to add a link to the Epic Store page to try to force it to show up in Galaxy. (This website is one of the databases that GOG Galaxy pulls from.) I have no estimate on when this edit will go through as I submitted another game two days ago, and that is still pending. I'll get back to you on when that goes through...

If that doesn't fix it, then it will be necessary to contact GOG Support about an issue with Epic Games integration not picking up this game.

EDIT --- Update -

IGDB accepted the change. While the game I added is now showing up in GOG Galaxy, Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition still is not. This means that it will be necessary to contact GOG support about an issue with the Epic Games integration not picking up this game, most likely because the Definitive Edition version is not in the GOG database in the first place.

It will be necessary for someone to contact GOG support about this as the issue is that while Shadow of the Tomb Raider is in Galaxy, the Definitive Edition isn't. Because this version isn't in Galaxy's library as an available game, no amount of synching integrations or removing/adding Epic will make it show up.

I'd contact GOG support myself about it except that my laptop is very low spec for this game. I technically meet the minimum requirements, but at the extreme low end. I'm not going to be able to properly make sure that the game actually runs through Galaxy even if the Definitive Edition does show up.

Hey guys!

Hope the New Year 2022 has started well for you all.

Sorry about these inconveniences. I have went ahead and updated our database and the issue should be resolved.
A GOG GALAXY restart might be required.

If you are still experiencing difficulties with this please bump us through a support ticket (although we will keep watching this thread as well). o7
It's showing up in the catalog now, I restarted and synced integrations and then it appeared.

Hi,

I was reminded of a visual bug that has never been fixed since the launch of Galaxy 2.0.
Episode 3 of Supreme League of Patriots has a corrupted cover, as you can see in the image I attached. Can you please fix it?

Also, could you make the titles of the Star Wars games more consistent, so that the various sequels aren't placed completely at random even though they are sorted by title?
For no apparent reason, Star Wars games seem to be divided into two categories that are not properly ordered by title among them. For example, STAR WARS™ Battlefront (Classic, 2004) and STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ II (Classic, 2005) are completely separate for no reason.

Many thanks for pointing out the issue with Supreme League of Patriots, have fixed that now.

As for your feedback about the Star Wars games, I have passed it onto the appropriate department. Thank you.

I don't have the game installed but last time i checked, like 5 secs ago, the game at least does not show up in the ' Epic ' segment of galaxy. It might show up in owned, lets see.

Nope, only Tomb Raider GOTYE and Rise Def edition show up. Shadows are nothing to be seen, might be a 'sunny side up' issue though?

or glaring <<giggles... ((not, actually
It's fixed for me. Shadow of the Tomb Raider appeared even without the necessity to re-connect Epic plugin.

I had the same issue, but solved it by restarting GOG Galaxy:

- Launch GOG Galaxy after turning PC on.
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider does not show up.
- Sync integration. Still nothing.
- Restart GOG Galaxy.
- The game shows up automatically without syncing again.

Hope it helps.
