A listing in PEGI's website shows a rating for Shadow Complex Remaster, supposed to come out on PC with a release date of 12/02/15, in other words today. The release date is certainly just a placeholder, but the game might indeed be coming to PC.

I know I'm excited. I love metroidvanias and never got the chance to play this game before. Anyone else looking forward for Shadow Complex coming to PC?
Hm, seems like there's still no official word on this. It'll be interesting to see this on PC, and ideally with the option to buy it DRM-free. :)
I don't think the interest would be there for the game, PC gamers don't want console games.

From what I've heard about the game I really do though.
"PC gamers" probably don't want "console games" because they're on console and not on pc.

I'd give my neighbour's kidney for a PC version of Red Dead Redemption

Yes, I don't think the whole "PC gamers don't want console games" is true. We don't want really poor, 10 years down the road, need to make some more cash, port of a console game (Dark Souls for instance is total shit, and that dreadful cheating system called VATS in F3). However Darksiders was really good, and platformers tend to crossover well.

So it depends on the game and the effort put in, not to mention the DRM, if its infected with anything, better to get it for the console.

I think the other thing is that things done for the LCD console market don't always translate well. Timed button mashes is one of my big gripes about console games. Take the Uncharted 3 unavoidable fight sequences which add nothing to the game, but you can't just shoot the tool in the face with your shotgun, oh no, you have to go through the press triangle now, now square, now mash square repeatedly sequence. Really annoying.

Sorry, rambled a bit there, TL;DR = yes, always good to see more metroidvania style games.

Oh, playing that now on PS3, really good setting and graphics. Basically wild west GTA, but it feels a bit empty at the moment, not that much to do. And some of the controls are a real pain, getting stuck on hiding walls for instance, or not being able to walk back through a door you've just come out of. Its a great start, but could do with a whole lotta content added - so bring it PC and let the modders have a go! (oh, and per previous email, get rid of the autotargetting, its just cheating).

No effing way, I played the shit out of this game on the 360, finished it multiple times, it is an excellent game with fun gameplay, great items, environment, a couple different endings and a decent storyline. In other words a pretty awesome metroidvania.

Definitely buying it again if it comes to pc.

As a PC gamer, I want console games to spread into the PC ecosystem. Wanting to perpetuate the segregation of gaming is myopic at best. I have much harsher words in mind for people who support platform exclusivity...but they would result in my being banned. Feel free to imagine them.
I have it on my Xbox 360 backlog.

What does that mean? What makes this a "console game" that PC gamers wouldn't want to touch?

Unless you really mean they wouldn't want it solely for the fact that it came out on console first, in which case I strongly disagree, that sounds like a petty reason and PC gamers want to play good games first and foremost. As mentioned above, if Red Dead Redemption came to PC I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I'm surprised it took so long considering how popular Metroid-type games have been over the last few years.
Yup, the world suddenly seems to have started making sense again. Took them too long to bring it to the PC. :)
Is this coming to GOG eventually? If you wish upon a star...

It appears to still be free from Epic: https://www.epicgames.com/shadowcomplex/

Is it free, or is it client bound/DRM'd? Looking at the file that it would download it seems to be a launcher file?
