Wesley_de_Waart: Lead developer of Selaco here! First of all, thank you all so much for the kind words. I know developers say this all the time but reading this stuff is truly uplifting and motivating.
Just to clear the air: I never confirmed nor denied a GOG version! Currently, a Steam only release is planned because I am a solo programmer (the rest of the team are artists) and putting all the focus on one platform makes things easier for me to manage. Rest assured, I am more than willing to do a GOG release but have yet to do research on it. The priority right now is working on the game itself and making sure that it's as awesome as we can possibility make it. I'll dive deeper into distribution methods when preview builds are send out.
Thanks for responding! I wish you the best of luck with the game. Hopefully it will be successful enough to be on multiple stores. Games which actually use an old game engine have always felt more "genuine old school" in all the right areas to me than just another "let's throw Minecraft textures into Unity Engine" release.
