zeogold: Maybe because the actual NAME OF THE GAME is called "Secret Hitler", a quite popular and in fact very G/PG-rated board game sold on the shelves of many a store.

LootHunter: But you can't deny that the game you chose IS rather provocative.
Yes, the name of the game is supposed to be provocative. But it is a very fun game. We usually play it on conferences in the evenings. (and/or Cards against Humanity)
Unbelievable! People downvoted because the game has him who shall not be named in the title.

Btw I read the rules, I haven't played the board game before but it's simple, so people should not hesitate to participate.

We are all liberals

Personally i LOVED watching TB and his friends playing Secret Hitler, calling eachother fascist and doing mind games and deciding who did what. The game really needed more people, so 6+ (which goes to a different ruleset).

Well, now you have the chance of watching yourself and your friends play Secret Hitler. All you need is sign up.
I'm in. :-)

zeo - have you contacted the 'contact these players' list in the mafia thread?
I haven't read whatever information there is in the OP for this game but I'll be in it.

I'm pretty sure th GOGfather can and probably will assist with that.
I'm in.

Typical posting expectation is at least once every 36-48 hours, preferably at least once a day, and prepare for complaints if you aren't saying anything when posting. Requiring a tighter time frame can interfere with people's lives, while looser time frames can cause boredom from people who aren't AFK. We should probably have some kind of plan for if a player disappears.

Due to the international nature of this forum, expect election phases to last several days, perhaps a week or more (some mod discretion may apply here); I suppose legislative and executive phases may also be up to Presidential/Chancellor discretion, since the rules indicate they don't need to wait to make their decisions.
I'm unfamiliar with the game, but it seems interesting enough and similar enough to mafia, I'll give it a shot.

Were the guys instructed that they are sent to recruit and not to kill - this time?

"We were all at home watching TV and know nothing about him." How about that?

I kinda forgot that was a thing.

Alright, thanks for the guidelines.

I'm holding out for Public Gandhi.

I assume that's up next, and will be far less controversial.
Hmm I am going to see if I can swing some free time.
