JaaJooz: GOG galaxy is fucking scamming people out their money. I have paid for Game of Thrones and no no no you dont own the game, you havent made any purchases on GOG. Fuck off fucking scammers.
That is what happens when you buy game on Steam. In order to get a game on GOG you should pay for it *again*.

Oh they even made me pay for Arx Fatalis, those scammers!

yogsloth: Seriously. I doubt anybody here has ever received a game they paid for. GOG just rolls on and on and on, taking in millions and never actually delivering product.
I have a modest catalog of games on this site that says BS to your statement, and if I ever had a problem with not receiving a game after purchase, which has never happened, I'd just contact their customer support to resolve the problem. Every time I purchase a game there is some form of proof of purchase: credit card statement/Pay Pal as well as email.

Did you get too close to the black hole at the center of Galaxy?
I'm always amused by threads that complain about a problem, but don't offer a further explanation of the events.

It's exceedingly clear what happened - the person purchased a game, after which GOG said, "To hell with that person, they already paid us so let's not give them anything. Ha. Ha. Ha."
Is it me or someone else smell G2something here?

Ever since I read the OP I had the feeling that it was another G2G victim.
Those tears. Those delicious tears.

WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!
Guys, this is no joke.

This is war.

You seem to have answered your own problem.

Contact the site from which you actually purchased the game and see if you can get a refund, if the key you bought didnt work, good luck with that.

Yes, it is War, but what it is good for?

Just a possibility, but it sounds like he's quoting something displayed in his account, in the place he expected to find his order history. Payment processing issues happen, I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt even if his attitude is shitty. Why do you assume his problem isn't legit?

Well, I guess I should give them the benefit of the doubt, yes. But, I have seen games disappear from peoples accounts and an account refresh should cure that problem, but tbh, I have never seen the problem that "You have not purchased anything from GOG" before, so Im just guessing that the person bought it elsewhere and the code didnt work, because I have seen that problem before.

But, I'm just guessing and trying to help the person direct this query to where it may be more sensible. I wasnt mean/sarcastic, I was serious,. If I gave the impression that I was mean/sarcatic, I of course apologise :).

No it's fine, I can just easily see a scenario where the OP bought his first ever game here, but due to some error the transaction wasn't processed properly. Thus, when he looked at the "Orders & Settings" page it might display "You have not purchased anything from GOG".
