Great article for one of the best adventure games of all time. From time to time I wish this game had a sequel (or at least a season 04 in Telltale style). Thanks for sharing!

Fairfox: o huh its teh zeodoggle game. is taht samuel ooor maximilian?
One is a 6 ft tall dog, and the other is a 3 ft tall lagomorph (he likes to violently correct anyone who calls him a rabbit, the dog sometimes stops him).

Also, why the duck isn't any more material coming out with those two guys? Did Purcell grow tired of them? Does a contract with Telltale need to run out before he can license it to Terrible Toybox or another competent point-and-click adventure developer?

I'd love to get more - comic, animated (short?) movie/series, video game, anything.

Maighstir: *snip*
Wikipedia says he works for short story development over at Pixar.

I know Disney has NDAs and non-competes.....

edit: Hmmm, he co-directed Brave. Did not know that....

just skimmed the article but it seems all the info in the article is old. i'm pretty sure i've already read something extremely similar to this. also, it has been a trend that double fine remasters a classic lucasarts game around april time. perhaps there's a correlation between this article and double fine's next remaster.

a sam and max fan like yourself wouldn't happen to know where he could get a playable version of the cancelled sam and max game would he? :)

It's actually really simple. All that's needed is for a bunch of people to join me in my plot to kidnap Steve Purcell.
Sadly, nobody's taken me up on the offer yet. Buncha wimps.

he's not the only one. Ron Gilbert needs to be shaken by the ankles whilst upside-down until all his monkey island ideas are finally out.
Why haven't I heard about this new game.........
;)
