Do the copies of MK 1, 2 and 3 count since they are DOS games?

M3troid: Caveman Ninja and Two Crude also include roms compatibles with MAME, although i didn't test on a old version.
DoomSooth: Did you guys check to see if those sets need or include an MCU and PROMs in their respective zips? Heavy Barrel has all of the ROMs in the zip except for the MCU and PROMs. Those are probably hidden somewhere else. DoomSooth

M3troid: No MCU and PROMS in zip or the folders. Maybe in the .exe, but can't say for sure. renloz

Super BurgerTime does require 6 PLD files that aren't included in this release. I guess that these games use romsets from old versions of MAME, like 0.139, that didn't include those files.

It's possible but I don't think so. I think they just hid some of the other files because they wanted us to use their product instead. Can't really blame them, if that's the case. Besides, would you really want to play something that's missing an MCU, PLDs, or anything else important?

Both games included in the Super Huey™ 1 & 2 Airdrop bundle are emulated. Both are Commodore 64 games and their ROMs can be found in the folder [GOG install folder]/Super Huey™ 1 & 2 Airdrop/Emulators. The ROMs are the .d64 files there.
Store link: https://www.gog.com/game/super_huey_1_2_airdrop
The games also come with a few goodies in the same folder, such as manuals.

I've been wondering, since MAME/MESS is an all-in-one emulator and there are multiple versions of it (some ROMs being compatible only with specific versions), wouldn't it be better to list the games by platform instead?

I'd like to make it more clear, but I have no time to test them all. If someone can provide detailed info for what game run on what emulator, I will update the post #1. :-)

Afaik, all SNK titles listed are NeoGeo games (plus, each of them comes with NeoGeo BIOS).
Alladin & The Lion King: Game Boy, SNES and Sega Genesis according to the HOWTO
Unsure about the DotEmu and Retro Classix games
TANGLEWOOD: Sega Genesis/Mega Drive
Nox Archaist, The Bard's Tale (1985), The Bard's Tale II: The Destiny Knight and The Bard's Tale III: Thief of Fate: likely Apple IIgs, by the note in the first post. Once they go on sale, I'll get at least one of them to check.
I guess ScummVM can be considered a platform, since it has its own emulator.
And lastly, just a PSA: Neo Turf Wars appears to have been delisted from GOG. Now it's available only through a bundle Humble Bundle.

The ROM included in Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is a Sega Master System ROM.

Also, a more in-depth explanation of how to get Full Throttle's ScummVM files (I don't have the other games, so I don't know how much the process changes):
To get the needed files, first install the game (it should be available for Windows, Linux and Mac 10.11 and later).
Then download this program, extract and open it (doesn't require installation and should work with Wine on Linux and Mac): https://quickandeasysoftware.net/software/doublefine-explorer (it's the same listed in the first post)
Then click in the "open" button in the upper left of the program and choose the "Full Throttle Remastered" option.
After that, navigate to where you installed the game and open the "full.data" file (it's in the "game" folder, at least in the Linux version).
Then click in the "Save All Files" button, then in the "Save All (raw dump)" option in the drop down menu and wait (it's 5 GB, so it could take some minutes in some computers).
Lastly, open the folder where you extracted all files, go to the folder "classic", then the folder "en", and copy all 3 files to the root of the extraction folder (so for example, if you extracted the files to Downloads\FullThrottle, the files will be in Downloads\FullThrottle\classic\en, and need to be placed back in Downloads\FullThrottle).
The mandatory files/folders are listed here: https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Full_Throttle
The file ft.la0 is the game's executable. Also, apparently, the game has other languages' files included, but I don't know how to apply them.
