???? Henriksen died as a cop in the station when Ahhhnold "came back" he also died at the "hands" of an Alien, and a Predator in the other named movies. What are you on about?

When was he killed by an Alien?
Got it, ok.

Zoltan999: Lance Henriksen might disagree....

Terminator in The Terminator, Alien in Aliens, and Predator in Alien versus Predator

tinyE: He wasn't killed by the alien in Aliens.

He was torn in two but he didn't die. Ripley patched the shit out of him and put him in cryo sleep along with Hicks.
It's debatable, as he was an Android, but he was "expired" until Ripley did bring him "back"

You're thinking of Alien 3.
He never expires in Aliens.

He is lying there holding onto Newt and he says "Not bad for a human." The next time you see him Ripley has bandaged both him and Hicks up and put them in cryo sleep.

In #3 you find out Hicks, Newt, and Bishop are "dead" but not from the alien, it's from the ship crashing.

It is later in #3 she brings him back but it's a moot point because the crash is what did him in in
the first place.

You're right...I stand corrected

No prob, but now I feel like an ass because we lost Paxton. He really was one of my favorites and this thread is for him.

If anyone has never seen Near Dark, SEE IT!! It's slow but his performance is unreal.

Agreed....I am not the type to generally grieve over the loss of celebs, as I reserve that for people close to me, that really impact my life. But I have really enjoyed the characters he brought to life on the screen, and will indeed miss him. As far as Near Dark (with Lance to boot, lol), it's probably one of my fav vampire movies. He was a real pisser in it for sure

To be fair to you it was an Alien who gave him serious injuries (if you can say that with an android) but yes, it was Ripley who terminated him. But I had forgotten about Henriksen being in all three movies so good on you for reminding me. And yes, it sucks we lost Paxton.
The game never ends, Hudson.

R.I.P.

Yeah, they both are a couple of my favorite actors, that often portray off the beaten path type of parts. I, like some others, didn't even realize he was 61 (that's really not very old these days), but even so, it really does suck for him to have died in such a manner. Does go to show though, none of us are immortal, and need to be thankful for the health we have, and time we have here to enjoy it. He'll for sure live on in my memory fondly though, through his many memorable parts and quotes. Cheers Bill, we miss you already...
Sheeeet! Just a couple of hours ago I was thinking about him, what a coincidence.

Namely, today they showed the movie "Terminator Genisys" (2015) on TV, I saw it the first time. In the beginning of the movie they recreated the scene from the 1984 movie where the Terminator faces the three punk thugs. At that scene I was thinking how Bill Paxton was playing one of those thugs in the original movie (but not in Genisys), a small role before he started getting bigger roles.

Wow. RIP.....the oldies n goodies keep dropping :(
Meet Chet. :D

How can you not love and miss this guy?
2017 seems to be going after Alien stars. First John Hurt and now Bill Paxton. It really sucks. Had the most memorable quotes in Aliens.
