How do you go about reporting a gog member? I have found someone who writes reviews that consist of "Trash" "Bad bad game" etc and when you check their profile they don't even own the game or if they do they have played zero mins, obviously a troll/spammer.

He went on a gay bashing tear in a review a few weeks ago which I personally reported. Last time I checked it was still there. :P

I dislike bad reviews based on having a PC that can't run a game, that are written by fan boi that will give a good review even if the game is rubbish but what I dislike most are people like that guy who writes shite for the sake of writing it.

All I can say is and I'm going to keep this clean. stop feeding the trolls.

For me I believe in freedom of expression so if someone doesn't like something they should say it. If others don't like that point of view then discuss as best as someone can in a civilized manner. Or ignore it all together.

Yeah, but he's reviewing games he's never played, AND he is being derogatory about it, lobbing personal insults at devs and users.

If he wants to criticize a game, fine, let him, but he if wants to use said criticism as an outlet for hate speech then sorry....HIS ASS HAS GOT TO GO.

I don't know what his article said so I really don't care I try to avoid these squabbles with race, nationalism and gay stuff. Too many sensitive whiners. Group A tries to shut another group B or C down. No chance to discuss in a manner that is normal... One group get upset and calls the other group haters its counter does the same. A never ending cycle.

All I'm suggesting is ignor the trolls. All what is happening now is escalation.. nothing good comes from that.

Freedom of expression doesn't entitle you to a platform. People don't have free rein to come into your property and talk shit. This is GOG's place, if they don't wish to host such content they have every right to remove it.

I disagree however to ignore those completely. As it has been said: just trying to provoke or making things bad without actually having played said things has nothing to do with "free speech". Free speech is about expressing your opinion which often has a reasonable background. Spitting out insults and such has nothing to do with it. So yes, such people should get reported especially when we are talking about actual hate speech. In this case keep in mind that those posts that got downrepped and marked as spam will be auto deleted after a while so GOG won't see them anymore. Better make a screenshot of the posts in question and contact a blue directly.

Not that I don't agree with your point, but I have 0 minutes on all of my games, and always will (even if gog ever gets off its ass and provides a Linux galaxy, my games do not get network access, ever).

Same here. Not defending the guy in question (or any other such reviews) but not everyone uses Galaxy (so not everyone's playtime is tracked) and a review from an account that doesn't own the GOG version of an old game doesn't mean they don't own it on disc. "Playtime tracked" by itself is as useless here as on Steam if someone's playing 100% offline.
