Elmofongo: Well I just did it. To get to Molten Core on foot you have to go through Blackrock Depths. And HOLY SHIT was that "Dungeon" fuckin huge. How did 5 people did this dungeon in Vanilla and how did you get 40 people down there in a 5 man dungeon?
Man dungeons took a hammer these days. They are too small and linear.
I give anything to experiance WOW back in Vanilla (or in my case up to Wrath)
Heck I would like to try Everquest 1999.
BRD was the most annoying dungeon in vanilla and it's compulsory since you had to do an attunement quest for Onyxia in BRD to escort an NPC who WALKED, yes WALKED from his prison cell to the instance exit. I mentioned that before in one of your posts :)
You don't get 40 ppl in 5 men dungeons. U formed your own grp to do the 5 men dungeons for attunements. And in the case of certain attunements, you can somehow manage to solo them especially if you're a hybrid class like a Druid or Paly. Which is one of the main reasons why I love being a Druid.
UBRS though was pure fun and exciting to explore. 10men wiping was seriously a good experience back then since it's one of the harder instances. I love the undead 5 men ones like Scholomance and Baron, just oozing with atmosphere.
Elmofongo: 1. What you forgot Kharazan was a BC raid? Well looking at it now it could have been a Vanilla raid. BC felt like it added content that was cut from Vanilla (Kharazan, Blodd Elves and Quel'Thalas region)
I loved Kharazan, probably one of the best raids in WoW and yes that was in BC. I'm not fond of the Outland, so coming back to Azeroth and doing Kharazan was very welcome to me. And that raid was just fun. You could play "chess" too.
