It's certainly appealing, especially since I'm studying agriculture. I'll probably pick it up a little while down the trail.
Wow, I'd expected a higher price point!

Medieval Dynasty -- even on discount -- is more than this.

This game has so many elements that I'd hoped would be in Red Dead Redemption 2 / Red Dead Online but were never implemented...

Tempting...

Apparently, the game is third-person only, at the moment.
That's reason enough for me to wait.
How are so many Dynasty games being created? They even have Sengoku Dynasty coming out.
More western games is always welcome
deffo gonna pick up when i get pay day

IMHO it's very rough... even for Early Access. I'd hoped EA would be further along seeing the state of Medieval Dynasty. Oh well...

May still pick it up and hope for the best. ;)
Early, 100+ so far, reviews on St*am ~ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1329880/Wild_West_Dynasty/
My, oh-my, Very ----. As "not good" with that many early reviews, so far, as we've ever seen. Toplitz does have a bit of a sketchy track record with previous products. Caveat emptor?

Yeah, I don't tend to put a lot of stock in Steam EA reviews (usually pretty vicious), but...

... does seem like this EA release was a bit too early.

If it was the same developer as Medieval Dynasty, I would feel pretty confident that the game will end up in a good state, but it's sadly not the same developer.

There are a number of things I would like to see fixed or changed, but not having actually played it yet, I'll refrain.

Still optimistic, but there's a bit of work to be done.

Is it worth the EA price ATM? As a huge Wild West fan... I'm wrestling with that. But for someone else... would be kinda hard ATM to justify recommending this to someone for the $21 - $26 price tag when they could get RDR2 or RDO on discount elsewhere for the same price.

Wild West Dynasty looks really good but hopefully, it gets updated since it's still in development and doesn't get forgotten about.,...
The reviews are mostly negative ;( and its really pricy to me for a buggy broken game even in EA

RDR2 is a highly story driven game, and as such wouldn't have worked with these many sandbox elements. And I'm glad for it. Except for the possible endings, because Arthur Morgan's story could have provided good material for a successive game.

It's early access. And apparently in a very early state compared to other EAs. A higher price would be brazen.

Momentarily definitely not.

On the other hand, the base idea of a western sandbox is good. So I'm still waiting for the messiah to come.

I'm not buying EA/inDev titles...but if this should ever get released in a "done" state, and the reviews are good...I'll buy it.

I take it you never played the online component of RDR2... RDO

As for Wild West Dynasty...

I'll probably take the chance and play it this weekend, but Toplitz -- coming off a very highly praised Medieval Dynasty -- really shot themselves in the foot with this much too early EA release.

I did. But not as much as GTA5O. If they implemented housing in RDR2O, it would be surely instanced housing like the GTA counterpart. Take 2 wants the online parts of its games generating money, but letting players build freely in the same instance (like in Ark: Survival Evolved) would make playing the implemented online features a torture and a unpleasant experience. Obstacles would destroy a fluid gameplay of their features, and the online community gets more scattered across instances in order to try avoiding other unpleasant players. It's difficult to generate a steadily income in a free build system, unless you sell each furniture and every other buildable stuff separately like a Ark game combined with the Sims. And I doubt every game can bear a Sims monetary system. This is even a challenge for the Sims.
