Caught in the middle of a divine clash of epic proportions that has left gigantic weapons towering over the landscape, Cyan and newfound allies Elise and Zantis set out on a quest to save the world…and defy the gods.

Trinity Trigger is now available on GOG alongside its Deluxe Edition and various DLCs!

It is an all-new action role-playing game combining the look and feel of iconic RPGs of the ‘90s with a modern emphasis on fast-paced, customizable combat. As Cyan, a young man burdened by the gods with the mantle of Warrior of Chaos and an inevitable clash against the Warrior of Order, players will set out on a grand adventure to defy fate and save Trinitia. Cyan and his companions Elise and Zantis are accompanied by strange creatures known as Triggers that can transform into eight types of weapons, and players can switch freely between the three characters to implement a solo combat strategy, or team up with up to two friends for local co-op.

Together, they will write a new destiny.

Into the forums with you.

Obligatory "Hell, that's a lot of DLC..." comment.

I'll investigate this later... My heart is really deep into Crystal Project right now.

But, hey, look, a dev who knows how to advertise a game with its screen shots showing meaningful gameplay rather than just bull shots.
Looks like a good game.

However, that's an awfully bold AAA type of price for a game with graphics far below AAA standards. I was expecting this to be more along the lines of a $29.99 USD game.

I respect that they added Achievements.

There is another game that want's to milk the customer with DLC...no thanks!
I'm curious about how the DLC works. Using White Tiger Axe (Zantis) as an example:
https://www.gog.com/en/game/trinity_trigger_white_tiger_axe_zantis
Unlocks Zantis' DLC Weapon: White Tiger Axe, which contains 3 techs and the following special skills:
*The 3 techs can also be used with regular weapons.
Does this mean the 3 techs are already in the base game, and are simply applied to the DLC weapon by default? Or that the DLC unlocks the ability to use the 3 techs on the DLC weapon and weapons from the main game? The latter would certainly leave a bad taste in my mouth, to be completely honest.
I applaud the dev's decision to release it in GOG, as most jap devs seems to be addicted to Denuvo.

However that's a buy-at-discount, the price is too much FWIW.
Pricing error? https://www.gog.com/en/game/trinity_trigger_intermediate_crafting_set
That HAS to be a pricing error, the same pack on Steam is $2.99. Someone needs to revisit this I think.

I was gonna buy this because it looks like Secret of Mana, but all that DLC is atrocious.
Especially the 'Extra Episode' bs. I might've been tricked into buying them if it was all bundled up into one big DLC at a much later date, but having all this from the getgo is such bs.
I guess the problem is people keep buying this shit.

They got bold and don't give a damn about subtlety. They just drop the whole DLC list on us and being proud of nickel diming their possible customers.

This remind me of when I play Suikoden 1 and 2. A single purchase gave me the whole story from beginning to end without paying more for "Extra story" stuff or pay extra for an extra clown costume.
I want to like this game. But I don't think I can. It looks pretty rough.
On the wishlist. I'll try to get it when I can.

Game is nice ^^
I'm happy to be able to get It here, the same release day as Steam.
Now...you really don't need to buy the extra DLC's...I'm around two hours of playtime and already got a lot of crafting items and crystals from drops or treasure chests.
