Titan Quest: Atlantis is now available DRM-free. Get it 10% off until May 24th, 5pm UTC.

The Hero meets an explorer that is searching for the mythical kingdom of Atlantis, and together they set out on a journey across the western Mediterranean. The key lies in the legendary Diary of Herakles, rumored to be in the Phoenician City of Gadir, but their journey will take them beyond the edges of the known world...
Wasn't there a release promo on Steam with a discounted base game and Ragnarok ?
So how many of you feel this is going to be the last expansion to TQ? What do you think? Because I got that feeling (unfortunately).

I hope I'm wrong. If they went back to polish some of the rough edges in the base game, spice it up a little, and throw one more expansion with cool new stuff in it, it'd probably have enough for me to really like it.

Hoping there will be a heavy discount on the base game so I can pick Atlantis up on GOG.

Would also like to know if it requires Ragnarok though?
Ayyyyyyyyyy

I wouldn't mind that, but I think I'd be happier with a full sequel. Either way, we're pretty lucky right now.

Just in case you want to play the DX9 version (maybe for performance reasons) there are two ways to do this:

1) There now is a launcher available (TQ_Launcher.exe) in which you can chose if you don''t want to play in Galaxy.

2) However if you are using Galaxy you will have to go into the menu MORE->OTHER and select the first TQ version from this menu. (Edited this since GOG support told me how to access the DX9 version through Galaxy - Thanks!).

No matter if you are using DX9 or DX11 - the new quality of life features will be available.

I doubt that it requires Ragnarök.

1) it is not mentioned on the gamecard.

2) As you can see in my linked video you access the new Atlantis act (which is not direcftly attached to the main story) by talking to a person from act 4 of the base game.

Well, what a great game Titan Quest and their first expansion Immortal Throne. A classic now. I spend hours and hours playing on my old pc. Very recommend the game and this Atlantis looks awesome!

ChrisGamer300: thx GOG and THQ Nordic/Pieces Interactive, i need my daily arpg fix and you provided it !
Is it any good? Is it? Is it? ;p
Can't help but wonder - does this QoL or those "other long-awaited perks" include some kind of wardrobe/transmog system?
Guess Grim Dawn and its AoM update that introduced it has really spoiled me to the core.
Man I really want to want this cause TQ is awesome, but I don't think I can go back after Grim Dawn.

It's too bad, TQ has the better locations and monsters and even armors really, it's just old.
I wish they would make like a Titan Quest 2 or even Grim Dawn 2 with Titan Quest like areas.
Why did it come so late here?

This addition does not have achievements or anything the Steam version has different added so I'm not clear about the delay.

Oh well.

Apparently the Steam release was riddled with bugs, so in this instance it was a good thing that it was delayed for release on GOG (and apparently the bugs were the reason for the delay).

TerriblePurpose:
Fair enough. Hopefully the GOG version stays 1:1 and updates are maintained as necessary.

Love this game but have not gotten into the new expansions.
Does it introduce Great- / Two-Handed Swords?

*edit*
And because there is always someone who loves to misunderstand: Swords so big they as a single weapon require two hands; I'm aware that it already has dual wielding two swords. ;)

The TQ base update still has some bugs btw /see attachment i.e.) - but they keep updating.

Does anybody know if the annoying micro-stuttering of the GOG version is fixed with this update? Are the save-games compatible or do I have to restart from scratch when I update to the new version?
