Does the game let you flood the country with unverifiable, unaccountable mail in ballots which you can use to buy, harvest, and granny farm your way to victory? Or send the FBI after journalists who look into your daughter's diary in which she claims you molested her in the shower when she was 14? Or have your friends at National Propaganda Radio refuse to cover the story about your crackhead son's laptop documenting your acceptance of bribes from foreign nationals?

Hm, while I enjoy political simulators, especially the Kremlingames series, this feels more Tropico than Suzerain perhaps. I need to watch some gamplay videos to see how much depth the game has. Interesting for sure. It seems well-made and I like the art-work. If it goes fully Mel Brooks it could be fun.

''Regulate the whole Internet -- your friends in China could use some help with censorship anyway.''

Oh snap, time to take down some memes in the name of the CCP!

Looks like a trashy attempt to cash in on the hysteria of the Trump era. Hard pass, Gog shouldn't sell such nonsense.

(I skimmed the Steam page a few days ago but haven't checked the GOG page today) I assumed it was some attempt at propaganda to help prevent Trump from being reelected in 2024. Like, if they really don't want that to happen, maybe make a game about how Biden's policies are actually helping the average American ... they aren't helping me but maybe others.

In any case, I don't mind the game being here, but would like to see some games from other political perspectives.

This thread is gonna get locked :P

So sad. So this is just another left leaning junk, right? I was hoping for something that actually allowed you to take any side you want. Oh well...

From what I've seen so far it appears so. Very sad to see GOG stoop so low into allowing this trash into their curated catalogue of games. Remember, to them the message comes before the truth. That is why their first reaction is to double down on the propaganda. Shame it's infecting games nowadays, we already lost too many movie IP's to this rot.

No. That made up story deserves its own game.
