A night to remember.

Thimbleweed Park, a delightfully surreal point & click adventure by the creators of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com!

This murder, it really ties the town together, man. A town already haunted by dark secrets and built on sins. Now five eccentric individuals will start poking around, each for their own reasons. Little do they know that they've become the unwitting catalysts for a fateful night full of bizarre events, brain-twisting puzzles, and weaponised sarcasm.

For some additional insight, check out our interview with Ron Gilbert, the mind behind Thimbleweed Park and a few other classics you may have heard of.

Toilet paper over (see screenshot)
Toilet paper goes over, of course. Everyone knows that. ( :

But the REAL question is... what colour is the toilet paper? I only use blue toilet paper. *tongue*

It is the default status. I grab the screenshot first. :-)

iRevolt: Hmm, wishlist for now. Have other titles to playthrough.

Sorry ((
maybe it will be cheaper in 6 - 8 months ?

JudasIscariot: Check again :P

Vainamoinen: I did. The download speed is at about 0.1 MB per second and less. Everything all right over there in GOG HQ?
I don't know but do visit our Support Center and send us a ticket if the problem persists :)

i guess that wont make any difference ............
maybe gog needs a faster server as suggested by other members?
GamersGate (GG) is always slow....but they always say it must be at my side :D , then i said to GG : all my connections on all other sites are lightning fast, so it must be GG
As a fan of Monkey island series, i am interested this game. I wishlist it now and buy it later with lower price. I have time to wait!
low rated

Maybe the actual bandwidth is indeed reserved for Galaxy users?

This is a bit of a joke, I have to say. More than an hour for 800 MB? Thank god this is a retro game.
Oh my! This is released! I must have it. Maniac Mansion is full of great memories and this looks (and reviews read) that it plays just the same. :D
Looking good. I'll get around to it eventually. I'm currently in a Mass Effect bonanza phase that may last a few more weeks. ;)

Nah, double-ply or triple-ply is the most important issue.

Wow - love the whole look of this game and so glad Ron Gilbert is back revitalising this sub-genre. I for one love the pixel art and the SCUMM interface.

I sincerely hope that this game is a success and that Ron considers making more along these lines.

gzres: Hello

I know 1.16$ isn't much, but wasn't the game supposed to cost 19.99$ instead of 19.99€?
There's blog post about this: blog.thimbleweedpark.com/soon_is_soon ...
avatar
Starmaker: 1. Nope, the post refers to the US price. The game is regionally priced, and the euro price is 19.99€.
2. However, unlike e.g. on Steam, here on GOG you will get store credit equal to the difference between the US price and the price you pay (if it's larger than the US price). It can't be converted back to cash, though.
Thanks! I wanted to buy on GOG anyway ;)

I havent bought it yet so i cant judge how long it takes, i will have to get it first before i can tell how long it took to download, when things arent busy the games are usually downloaded very fast.

update: 64 seconds or so and the file was in.... so it seems the server is unclogged ... reminds me of Zack McKraken when he uses the toiletpaper on the toilet in the plane scene.

"Okay, but this could clog it up ..."
