You’re not ready for this news – the newest title from 11 bit studios, The Thaumaturge, is now out on GOG!

The Thaumaturge is an isometric, story-rich RPG with a unique approach to tactical combat, character development features, and investigation mechanics. Set at the mere beginning of 20th century, in Warsaw under the yoke of imperial Russian tsardom, you’ll face morally ambiguous choices; all while discovering a whole darker side of the universe, mysterious powers and strange ethereal beings called Salutors.

Despite the circumstances Warsaw is forced to live in, it’s a buzzing metropolis – you’ll meet a variety of inhabitants, ancestries, views and beliefs of conflicting interests, Russian Soldiers, Jewish Merchants, Polish townspeople, and many, many more. While experiencing the city life, you’ll get to attend breathtaking parties with the high society, only to later get robbed in a dark alley of the Praga district. You’ll see great hopes, dreams, dark desires; but above all, you won’t be able to ignore the Thaumaturges, individuals versed in taming Salutors; used for manipulation and combat.

Prepare to shape your story through alternate choices and their consequences, develop your character, defeat your foes in a unique combat experience of both human attacks and psychic strikes from Salutors; influence and manipulate, and tame the power of those ethereal beasts. But that’s not all – let yourself be fully immersed in the world that’s inevitably gone, with historically accurate environment, figures, and the charm of crime and luxury going side by side.

You can now also get the Original Soundtrack, as well as in a Digital Deluxe Edition – so don’t wait, dive into the grim streets of Warsaw!
Looks interesting, will wishlist for now.
Was looking forward to this, apparently they've just lifted an embargo and 'content creators' are finally allowed to upload their reviews, that's rarely a good sign. :P
Guess I'll have to watch a reveiew now to see for myself. :)

Edit: Will purchase later this week once I've finished Persona 3 Reload. The game looks a bit rough around the edges, but the unique setting and characters more than make up for a few flaws. :)

Ima gonna pick this. The whole setting intrigues me. Occult. Eldritch. Arcane. Demons. Undead. Whats there not to be thrilling to get lost in?

high rated
Interesting. Not exactly my vibe, but the unique setting certainly draws my attention. Given the setting however, it really is a pity there is no Polish dub. Having everyone speak English won't exactly make 1905 Warsaw more immersive.
A promising title by Fool's Theory! Wishlisted :)
The price tag prevents me from blind buying this right now.
Any reason why there is no deluxe edition upgrade DLC here?

On the wishlist it goes...
In the System requirements the requirements for the CPU list GPU models, not CPU models. Maybe you should recheck your data, @GOG!??

No clue, but they did the same with Seven. There was no option to upgrade to collector's edition for owners of the standard edition (which is a pity, because it has a nice looking collection of goodies)

You might get your wish, I personally wouldn't mind a polish dub either. :)

From a dev:
The game releases with an English VO. There's a chance for Polish dub at some point in the future but that's yet to be confirmed and we don't have any date for it yet.
I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I'd know for sure that my PC could run it... Anyone here who just meets the minimum system specs and is currently playing it?
Ah, so Thaumaturge has arrived :)

Yes indeed, that's the first rule of Thaumaturgy.
