kohlrak: Sonic Adventure DX was DRM free on steam. Didn't think to back it up and it's no longer DRM free. They don't understand how to use DRM, which seems to be the only reason why they're DRM free. Once they find out, they fix it.

fronzelneekburm: Crap, should've backed this one up as well! Thanks for the info! At least I backed up Condemned and Alpha Protocol.
They could've broke it in a patch again, since they have a history of that, but keep that all in mind. One of these days i'll figure out how to unsteam a game, 'cause the DRM seems to be merely checking a number from a DLL or something.
Figured out my keybind problem: My binds actually work, it is only the menu visually returns to default. The sprint turns off if you press WASD - you navigate with your mouse, not via keys like in the older FPS games I have played. I am old, concerning these newfangled movement styles.
I was just about to buy it yesterday... but then noticed it has DLC (without a discount) and apparently more DLC is coming later.

Dunno, waiting for now... I guess the Season Pass is supposed to guarantee you get all the future DLC (ie. that one missing DLC coming in 2021) as well?

I bought the Asterix & Obelix Romastered instead.

Anyone had time with the GOG version of the DLC yet? No sign of any online requirements?

Rekkabites: When are the South Park Games coming to GOG.com? That's Obsidian, too! Also Outer Wilds please!
Published by Ubisoft. Good luck getting more from them here...

So are the impressions good so far? Ultrawide, chromatic aberration, better writing than last year?
How many more DLC is expected after Gorgon? (is it a proper expansion?)

Murder on Eridanos is the upcoming 2nd DLC:
https://gamerant.com/the-outer-worlds-murder-eridanos-dlc-new-planet/

Expansion Pass supposedly is comprised of Gorgon and Eridanos.

Don't know if there'll be a 2nd Expansion Pass with more DLC's...or what. [shrug]
Too overhyped game. Fallout was much much better

There might be a second pass as there are still quite a few locked planets or they could be part of the second DLC. Time will tell I guess. :)
Are they proper expansions? I guess i am wondering why they are doing the expansion pass thing... hmmmm

Check the reviews, I'd say.

Supposedly, Gorgon is around 5-12 hours; and basically "more of the same."
Doesn't sound like there's a ton new, other than...new place to explore and new content.

About releasing content in expansions or DLC format - I think it's the same reason most companies do DLC's - charge content at Premium pricing and make $ off that content, especially ASAP when they can charge "more for less", if they want.

Given that the terms "expansion" and "DLC" can mean whatever the heck it means these days, thanks to companies selling bigger expansions named DLC's (see GTA4 DLC's; Fallout 3/4/NV DLC's; Skyrim DLC's) and things labeled as Expansions that are really more like DLC's (smaller content packs of 3-5 hours) - eh, it's like "whatever", these days. [shrug]

I just do my homework on these games and their's DLC's/expansions/whatever they wanna call them - and buy accordingly, if and/or when need be.

Which Fallouts here are you talking?
Fallout 1? 2? 3? 4? New Vegas?

I would guess, you ain't talking FO76 here... ;)

You're too harsh. The Outer Worlds is definitely better than any Fallout made by Bethesda (3/4/76).

Your opinion. For me F2>F1>F3>F4>FNV>Outer Worlds>F76
Thats why Im currently processing refund. Outer Worlds is too shallow compared to any fallout, except mb 4 and 76 in temrs of story. And this pathetic attempt to roleplay "dumb" character.... Phhhhh, not even close to F2.

Fallout 3&4 better than New Vegas? Wow... you left me speechless.
