Do you have a nose for adventure?

The Inner World - The Last Wind Monk is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 15% launch discount until October 27, 5PM UTC.
A little petrification can't stop an Asposian hero like Robert from doing the right thing, can it? With Emil, a treacherous merchant and sycophant, poisoning the public opinion, it's now up to Robert, his flute nose, and his rebellious friend Laura to explore this wind-sical world and solve all its puzzles before it is too late.

Note: The Mac version of the game will be available soon.

Watch the trailer.

Can't say I expected it to show up this late in the day, but a continuation of a imho successful adventure game with day 1 Linux support? Take my money.

Long live Peck the pigeon!
Available for most any operating system or console – except the Gameboy
What?! Sorry, that's a dealbreaker... Joking aside, it looks tasty!

That's explain the high price . Wishlisted until a deep discount .

Well €21.29 for a few hours adventure game is too expensive for my salary .

Well, actually you get about €3 back (as store credit) through GOG's fair price policy, but fair point. If you're having doubts or are not a fan of the first game in the series, it's probably best to wait for a sale.

Although the price tag is offputting I still bought it (luckily I had a few bucks in my wallet to ease the pain a little), as I hope this sends a signal to the publisher, that this dev studio has an audience, you can make some money on gog.com and maybe even some money goes to the dev studio. Also Linux-Support on day one rocks!

Okay GOG,

give me The Last Wind Monk and take my money.
But you should not be disappointed when I'll skip your fall sale,
due to cobbwebs in my purse.
Too many instabuys lately.

Unfortunately this is the norm now, every release the prices go up and up. Mafia is £9, remember the days when old games used to be less than £5? All the new releases are stupid prices.

I paid 120 Deutschbucks for Fate of Atlantis back in the day and I never once regretted the purchase even though I spent half of the time with the game changing Amiga disks! You folks don't know how great you have it with these newfangled prices! :)

120 Dm ? a floppydisk i assume?
Did it come with a decent paper manual? some games had a nice big manual:( the paper quality was not always that good but i can still read them after >20 years)

Mechcommander, Dark Reign The Future of War, Fallout 1 +2 ,Patrician II , Cossacks European wars,Baldur's Gate ,Arcanum,HOMM III , Army Men " In Space ".

Gender Wars and Jagged Alliance had hardcover manual and the cd inlay was glued in the hardpaper manual.

The worst 'manual' i ever had was a bad quality B/W copied newspaper like manual that came with Hostages ( 2 floppy disk) for the Amiga.... retail price was 99 guilders, much to expensive,
another AMIGA game 1 floppydisk
priced 70 guilders, : Licence To Kill : this nasty game had a division by zero error, always happening at a certain stage of the game during a shootout so you had to be extremly fast to pass it or the game bomb out....
it was awfull what kind of rubbish they sold retail, at extreme prices, ofcourse extremely protected with DRM : awfull .

Yes those good old retail days :D

24.99 listprice thats my max amount i am willing to spend on digital drm free games, if it were retail with extras , good paper manual and cd/dvd i might pay 40 or more, for digital only : 25 = the limit.

Anyway, this does not mean i would for out 25 for every game, each game has its own listprice, some games are worth more euros and many are worth less euros.

Seems i own the first game, which i havent played yet :D, when i signed up i started buying all the classic games i also owned on retail, after a few months i had all the games, so i started to buy newer games, like remakes of monkey island ( only 2d remakes) and new baldurs remake (which i havent played yet i stick to the old ones).

The thing is i was new to all this and thats why i almost bought anything minus the games i cannot play (3d etc etc)
lateron i checked my games and noticed i had almost half of my games i never played so i hid them.

After 2 years i became more carefull at buying games i have about 175 games hidden, but i have more other game accounts like gamersgate and steam and its the same : many games i bought because i was new, but now i am very careful....
I liked the first Inner World a lot and had no idea there's a sequel coming, so this is great news. The price on the other hand is not so good :P
ist one good
