I have morrowind code patch 2.2 installed and i see there is 2.4 now if i upgrade to it do i need to start a new game or can i just play my version 2.2 save game character as 2.4 version?
Is the sale bugged? Fallout 1,2 & tactics say not owned but I do own them, just not the (identical but overpriced) re-releases. I'm not buying 3 games I already own on gog to get the max discount just because they changed to a greedier publisher.
Hi!
I can't get my mods to work with that version... They used to work with the disc version... Anyone else tried?

That has happned a couple of times to me, but nothing to worry about. You still have the games in your catalog, it just does not show up in the store add.
This is a days where GOG shines again after all the dark days lately. Thanks for these releases! And thanks to Bethesda too, although you are not one of my favorite publishers, especially after the screwed up reintroduction of the old Fallout games on GOG. But hopefully that may change in the future. ;)

Errr, I just quickly loaded up the sale page, and it doesn't change the discounts with more or less games selected. Each game has its set discount, and thats what you get. (At least on my end.) So you can just de-select the ones you know you own and it shouldn't affect your discount.
Also, if you purchased the game before Bethesda got the rights they may actually be in your library as "classic" editions or some such, GOG's website will possibly see them as different games. It does for me, as I got them when it was still Interplay, and its telling me I don't own them on the Bethesda sale page.

Also, I'm happy and sad that this game and the two Fallout 3's are here.

Happy, because They're finally here, and I always said if i re-purchased Oblivion it'd only be DRM free (why trade one DRM for another, Steam in stead of disc check).

Sad, because spending even ten dollars each for games that I already have in some form or another is outside my budget at the moment. Oh well, another day I suppose.

But it is all good for the many who have always actively avoided steam and may have missed the original disc release of Oblivion. Play, have fun, they're definitely worth the ten dollar sale price.

Edit: elaboration added, also its hard to type whenever you're exhausted from chopping up trees with a chainsaw....

I have no idea why you would ask this question here, but usually you don't need to start a new game with a new version of the Code Patch. Also, even if that were the case it would only apply to certain options, which you just could leave disabled.

Which mods are you having trouble with? Do they require OBSE?

probably you need to re-check them in the launcher

A few years ago Fallout 1, 2, & Tactics were temporarily removed from the store while the rights were undergoing a change in ownership. Once they came back, any version of the game bought before that time was renamed to Fallout 'Classic'. The version on sale now is different, even though it's identical in every way to the Classic version.

Or to put it another way: There are thirty-two versions of Fallout, each with their own mental code. Each code is segregated into six sections, one for each key signature (there's an extra one, but I won't get into that). The mental codes correspond to each phase of the moon - five times a year, and only on the first blood moon of the month when it starts. The key signatures becomes self-aware at noon tomorrow, but only when the moon is in full alignment with Galacticamaru.
Do you think the current sale is worth the bite or will lower prices be a future possibility? The Bethesda sale is fantastic. Been waiting for Fallout 1 & 2 as well as Morrowind to go on sale. I would like all three of the new release at some point, but with how I am budgeting things, an extra $30 in one week is kind of steep at the moment. Especially considering I will not get to playing these newer ones in a long time. Perhaps if they had a greater discount I'd go for them, but I may stick to one of them if a better deal in the future is likely. New Vegas seems to be the best of the lot by far, so that may be the one I stick with. Though Oblivion is no slouch.

I'm having some issues as well with Wrye Bash + Unofficial Patches + OBSE + Francescos, but maybe it's my fault... haven't done this in a while. I'll retry and let you know if I got it working.

Edit: Yeah, it was my fault. Got it working smoothly now.

This game is so far from being in oblivion.

Thanks Bethesda & GOG!

Without looking it up, I'm pretty sure discounts for the previous Bethesda titles are as good as they've ever been (and best of all, they're not in a bundle!), but the new releases will, of course, get better discounts in the future. Probably even before the year's out.

Hi!
Mostly textures replacement mods...
I will look into it tommorow:)

I've managed to make them work by tweaking a file called archiveinvalidation.txt...
My mistake sorry ;)
