fortune_p_dawg: has punch club been updated yet?

Bigs: Bloody hell.. got this on Steam when...

NOT. HAPPY!

OUTRIGHT BLOODY LIE!!

fortune_p_dawg: that actually explains a lot. dev doesnt particularly want to be on gog, and publisher does.

explains why punch club is still many versions behind the steam build and lazy bear games goes into anxiety induced radio silence when asked about it.

a shame too. i really like the look of their games.
Suprised ? i'm not suprised at all thats how they 'roll'

befuddled ? nice one , have to look that google that one , never heard of it , it sounds funny :D
46% on Steam... is it really THAT bad?

This makes me wish Underworld Ascendant was published by tinyBuild. They seem to hold some magical sway over gog.
I'm not really interested in this game, but since apparently tinyBuild is still releasing their games on GOG (even though keeping them up-to-date is a different story), when can we expect Pathologic 2 in here? I'm not buying it on Steam, since GOG is where I own all my Ice-Pick Lodge games, and I'd rather have a DRM-free version whenever possible.

Honestly, I never understood why IPL switched publishers; they were doing... fine? With General Arcade, which publishes the "new classic" version of Pathologic on GOG (and everywhere else, I assume), tinyBuild has been less than reliable when it comes to GOG releases, especially when it comes to keeping the GOG/DRM-free versions of their games up-to-date with the Steam ones.

Offtopic: The developers of Pathologic 2 confirmed in a private e-mail to one of the goglings that the game will appear here.

firstpastthepost: Why is GoG still allowing this dev to release games here? Their other games are abandoned broken messes that they refuse to update here. It's a shame, their games look interesting but the devs refuse to provide updates on GoG.
What other games? Only Punch Club wasn't updated, but Graveyard Keeper was kept up to date pretty regularly, from what I've seen, and according to gogdb, every time it was updated within a day, compared with steam. We'll see how well Swag and Sorcery will fare with the updates on GOG.

That's 1/3 of the Lazy Bear Games catalog - though I agree Graveyard Keeper was well kept up to date. It was more of a comment on the publisher tinyBuild who have a less than stellar rep on here with other games they have published.

I agree with you about tinyBuild, but the comment I cited was referring to the developers. Hopefully, this one will be maintained same way as Graveyard Keeper. :)

I specifically avoided buying graveyard keeper because users reported the game as broken and not receiving updates to fix it. I know that it did receive some updates. I was just under the impression that the current version is no longer receiving updates and is broken.... to be fair, the comments say the game is currently in the same state on Steam.

Hmm it IS missing the 1.121 - 1.123 (current) patches that are on Steam... ><

Same thing for me. I have it on my wishlist but I'll buy it after it receives all patches and DLCs.

No, it's not. Version 1.123 was updated on 2019-05-09.

Is it? GOGDB shows them as being on GOG.

My bad then - the last one I see in my game's changelog is 1.120 from last year... guess the gamecard isn't kept up to date

Yeah, that's another GOG's problem - missing changelogs. Always check the installer's version, not the changelongs.
