General Troubleshooting
-----------------------

If you're experiencing black screen / crash on launch, please try the following:

- Before starting the game, change video resolution to your desktop one (or the closest match). if that fails, try falling back to 1024x768. Video settings can be found under GOG Galaxy HERE
-- or in Start Menu HERE.
- Close any unnecessary applications running in the background, especially ones overlay-based like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, GeForce Experience, FRAPS etc.
- If running multiple screen setup, try switching to a single monitor.

If none of the above helps, please send your DxDiag to our Support team HERE. The more information we have, the easier it will be to pinpoint the problem.

May the Force serve you well.

Never played the game, I wasn't that much into arcade racers back then I guess. But so many people here praise it so yeah I guess I need to check it out at some point. I don't recall if it was similarly praised back then.

I can recall it being called "the best thing about Episode 1" in several places.

how do you change the resolution? I didn't see anything for that, in game or a separate program.

tinyE: For those of you new to this game, the only letdown is that the best racer in the game is the first one you get Anakins, but it's fun to see, when you get better, if you can actually win with some of the more unwieldy tanks.

And be careful of Sand People later on. They can be a good shot.
Them be fighting words! This was the best one:

Finished the game with it and left Anakin in the dust!

The 1920 is nice. :D

Played this games kazillions of hours but the pods never looked so good.
Excellent game, nice release GOG!

Got way too much I've bought recently to buy yet, but I'll pick it up eventually.
You lost me at "Episode I".
Yes! finally!

I doubt the game has an anti-aliasing setting, but if you can force it then it should look even better. That's what I did with Warcraft 3 years later using the Catalyst Control center (if you have radeon/amd gpu) and it made a huge difference as well.

I've hated pod racing in any Star Wars game that had a pod racing section. It makes me skeptical to think that this would be fun for me. Maybe I can find a demo.
Not fair.
Out of money.
Perhaps in a few months.
Good move GOG, good move!
Crashing on launch, resolution is set correctly. Wish I could get it to start
